Lonk
Quite possibly the most underrated and unknown duology of games ever. It also doesn't help that Europe never got to see a release of Origins to boot. So yeah, gush about this duology of games.

Lonk
Tell me more 'bout it, I hear the name relatively often in JRPG discussions. The Baten Kaitos games are a series of games that take place on continents floating in the sky above the tainted earth. Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean focuses on a youth by the name of Kalas who bonds with a being known as a Guardian Spirit (which happens to be you, the player) as he goes on a quest to avenge his grandfather's death and stop the revival of the evil god Malpercio. Origins is a prequel to Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean that takes place 20 years prior to the original. It focuses on another spiriter by the name of Sagi, who is a member of the Dark Servicemen that gets framed for the murder of the emperor. Like the name says, Origins explains the events on how Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean came to be. The games are tenaciously loved due to their unique style of how they approach the battle system (you battle with cards), the beautiful artstyle of the world, interesting plot and characters and amazing music (It is said to be Motoi Sakuraba's best soundtracks to date). The games are stupidly hard to find, however.

The 2nd theme should sound familiar to those that have Smash Bros for the Wii U, since a remix of that theme is present in that game.
