Flame Dragon
My friend has a Nekusar deck and as I've been working on my own command decks I've come across so many cards that seem disgusting in this deck that I have to wonder, just how powerful can this thing be? Rodrigo
My favorite way to win with it is to wheel people to death with Omniscience + Platinum Angel + Enter the Infinite. But I guess giving it infect is a more effective OTK condition.
Flame Dragon
I never thought of giving this infect. That seems pretty disgusting. See, the way I've been thinking of how he should be built is just as a "everyone burns" style deck where everyone is taking unpreventable damage and you win just because your taking less. (GigaDrillBreaker)
In my opinion, he has a lot in common with Narset. He looks like he goes for a really cool, fun playstyle, but in reality he just ends up as 99 wheels, like Narset ends up as 99 extra turn spell. Of course, I don't dislike him nearly as much as Narset, who is literally my least favorite commander ever, but damn I am tired of seeing the same nekusar deck pop up all over rhe place. Trebuchet MS
Admittedly, not very powerful. I run Neku myself, but half the times I win it's not solely because of him - it's usually to various other backup damage sources I run like Underworld Dreams or Fate Unraveler that can either substitute or enhance Neku's damage output depending on the situation. Him with Teferi's Puzzle Box creates a hell of an experience though. That's why I call it Mr. Neku's Wild Ride. My next dream is to brand someone with BFZ-ObNixilis' emblem and trap them on the ride. Yea, thats my general felling. Nekusar can do a lot on his own, but having a bunch of effects that either double up on what he does or other ways to burn everyone is the best way to go about building him. Like when I saw Puzzle Box today I was like, why aren't you running this in Neku.

Flame Dragon
Puzzle Box is a staple in my Nekusar deck. Card just does so much. I can see why. Friend is super casual which is why I was able to find more than a dozen cards perfect for him without even meaning to. Considering how many techs they share, this is pretty much black Niv. Curious, what is some of the tech? I've drowned my friend with so much Neku advice I might as well go all in at this point.

For one, you can run Curiosity and place it on Nekusar to get a pretty much Consecrated Sphinx.

Sixty
I've played four player games where we're all playing Nekusar. They don't last beyond five minutes.

A friend of mine has a Sakashima deck built around stealing all his opponent's stuff. He has had Sakashima coping Nekusar and then stolen Nekusar. It is something.
