Gateway Of The Burning Abyss

Spell/Continuous

Once per turn, during either player's turn ; when a "Burning Abyss" card effect activates in your graveyard : shuffle a set card your opponent controls into his/her deck , the set card cannot be activated in response to this effect.
You can banish this card from your graveyard , if you do shuffle 2 different "Burning Abyss" cards in your graveyard into your deck , then draw 1 card.
You can only control 1 Face-up "Gateway Of The Burning Abyss"

Why would BA run a card that stays on the field perpetually anyway. This isn't on skill drains game simplifying level. Add a discard effect or the like

This card is good as it is i guess . Its just some good removal option , plus cagna can send for recycle and draw which is nice.

the first eff has an opt , making it only during yr turn wouldnt allow diverse plays.

The 2nd eff can be molded if that's what you are implying ?

I don't think it has: opt clause.

"Once Per Turn"  and " You can activate (each/this) effect of "Card's Name" only once per turn" are different.

Once per turn is used to be reused in different copies of the Same card for example "Cyber Dragon Infinity", as its text just states "Once per turn" which means you can activate 3 effects of "Cyber Dragon Infinity" in a single turn.

"Opt Clause" or ""You can only activate 1 "card name" per turn" is Quite a different Term, when you Ritual Summon "Nekroz of Trishula" and use its field effect, you can't use its Second effect in the hand in the same turn, even if you Summon 3 Copies of "Nekroz of Trishula", only one effect will activate.

This is what The Eternal Winter tried to point, i guess.

But you can only control 1 face-up gateway so that solves the problem.

Cool and Interesting card, but this will prevent you from SS other BA monsters with their effects. Leaving that aside the condition to activate is a little unfair (in my opinion) ... And maybe only on your turn. About the shuffling itself, if the effect doesnt target, then there is no point on preventing the activation, since you will choose the card at resolution your opponent can activate the set card anyways (because when they has the chance to chain something you still havent choose).

Night Beam does that but it targets.
