Choujuu Kensei Musa-C / Superheavy Swordmaster Musashi
Earth Machine / Synchro / Effect
LV5 300/2300
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
(This card is also always treated as a “Superheavy Samurai” card.)
(1) When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target 1 Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard; add it to your hand. If you have a Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard, you cannot Normal or Special Summon that monster or a monster with the same name during this turn.
(2) This card can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation.

Not bad at all, even if you do have Spell/Trap Cards in the Graveyard, you can still grab something and for example use it to equip something with. Generic materials is nice as well, can attack while in DP, overall, a decent addition.

This card... Want... Need... too good in SHS. Get a SoulBuster back... Get Firesuit back... I think it would let me return an extra deck monster back to the Extra Deck. Get an equip monster back... GET SCALES BACK!!!

Do you know how much crap I can pull off with a Scales? AND NOW I CAN KEEP GETTING THEM BACK?!

I WANT IT NOW!!

Oh, also the fact it works in any deck that Synchros is nice.

And before anyone asks, yes it is easy to make in SHS, and would get things into the graveyard that I want in there... And then use this thing's effect to get the tuner back.

I WANT IT NOW!!!

Just noticed... Compared to Ogre or Susanowo... It seems more... Attack oriented in its art. Huh.

I WANT IT NOW!!!

Well, as it goes with each new Synchro Tama-C gains more targets. Now it can eat Levels 3, 4, and 8. I like the the recovery, granted Gear Gigant X does it better, since I dunno which high level Machines you'd even want to grab back.

Machina Fortress, or something to pitch for it. I'd rather add it back to hand so I only have to pitch 1 additional star than try to summon it from Grave by pitching 8.

It's also an Extra Deck recycler.

This card got a whole lot worse when I saw it says you cannot summon it during this turn instead of for the rest of this turn.

Only for you sissy players that need Spells and Traps.

....Why do I get the feeling This card will be used to make Quasar plays?

Good idea! I'll try to figure it out!

You could always make this turn 1 in a deck like Speedroids when you have no Spells/Traps in your Graveyard if you needed to summon it again that turn. Anyway, the downside isn't really that bad, you can just save it until next turn.

EDIT: Just saw that you have to not summon a monster with that name that turn (not for the rest of the turn which I thought it said). Makes it a fair bit harder to use generically.

I'd make a Brave Fencer Musashi reference, but naw. I like how this thing has two swords, though. Nice reference to Musashi Miyamoto.

On Topic: Superheavies having a recycler like this is great. As I think was mentioned earlier, you could sort of loop Trumpeter with this by recycling it back to your hand to tribute for Big Benkei, etc. Also great is being able to recycle the equip monsters, like Soulbuster and Soulfire, as was also previously mentioned.

Like Shutendoji, however, it's not very strong stat-wise, but you only really want to make it for the recycling, like how you only really want to make Shutendoji for the backrow nuke.

Overall, though, nice card. Definitely a great new toy for Superheavies to play with.
