Target 1 XYZ monster you control, Tribute it and Special Summon one Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck that is the same type and attribute but one Level higher than the XYZ monster's Rank, Ignoring summoning conditions. Treat this Summon as a Synchro Summon, and give the Summoned monster a Rank equal to it's Level

 

 

 

 

During your opponent's turn, if an XYZ monster you control is Destroyed, or returned to the Extra Deck, you can banish it Face-Down, and Special Summon one XYZ monster with the Same Type and Attribute but 1 or 2 Ranks higher, and Attach this card to it as XYZ material with the name of the Banished monster. The monster summoned by this Effect cannot activate it's effects until your next Standby Phase. You can pay 1000 Life Points to have this card count as 2 Materials instead of one while this card is Attached as XYZ Material.

Nice ideas.

I'm wondering if Synchron Force will lead to some kind of creative deck focused around abusing it.

At the same time, I also feel that Synchron Force should receive a buff (+up to 3/2 levels) to make it truly useful. (Rk4 into Sync 5 is rather pointless)

Heck, with this new effect, an Rk9+ could turn into a Quasar, and an Rk6+ could become a Trishula XD.

It could even become a possible win condition in trains.

But then again, it's just a wish, and I'm pretty sure it'd be OP as hell if that happened.

First off, I may seem nitpicky, but it's written Xyz, not XYZ. The cards themselves are good, but A Desperate Card should be equipped to the Xyz Monster summoned by it and given the effect of "If the equipped monster you control would detach its Xyz Material to activate its effect: You can detach this card as 1 of the Xyz Material." The 1000 life points can work with the equip part better, in my opinion.

The 1000 life points can work with the equip part better, in my opinion.

Some Xyz cards require a specific monster to be attached to them to activate a specific effect. Much like how a card like Star drawing, or gagaga girl works, you can pay a cost before detaching units. if the card is swapped to an equip, it wouldnt work. hence the wording 

 

Attach this card to it as XYZ material with the name of the Banished monster.
