Darj
Voting for Card B. Card A simply feels too fair to be any good. First, it comes with all the inconveniences of a regular Ritual; that is, unlike Nekroz Ritual Spells or Odd-Eyes Advent, which can use monsters as tributes from the Extra Deck or grave, and/or can Summon the Ritual from the grave, and thus turning the Ritual Summons more cost-efficient, you must have both the Ritual monster at hand and the tributes on your hand/field in addition to the Ritual Spell, making it more difficult to set up. Not saying this is that bad, but it could have gone away with either of those shortcuts (so to speak). Then, the effects are quite tame. Unless you mill a card that triggers an effect when sent to the grave, you won't be generating any advantage from Latias' effect. And her last, protection effect is cute but, again, doesn't generate advantage. The last effect of the Ritual Spell does make advantage but:1) it picks Latias from the grave, which means you have to Summon/discard/mill her first, and get this card into the grave.and2) with no Ritual Summon "shortcuts" through the Ritual Spell, getting Latias back into the hand for setting up another Ritual Summon is not quite the amazing feat. I mean, it's good to get a freebie combo piece, but not amazing overall. Card B, on the other hand, is more practical to play as a generic Rank4 and her effects are nice without being too overpowering in my opinion. The quick-effect stat boost effect looked dangerous at first... but then I noticed that it both required another monster under your control and she can only affect herself, so one could easily play around by removing those other monsters first. Zftn Onen
Card A seems somewhat useful but since it's high level ritual it makes it less reliable .Being able to arrange 5 top cards of your deck is good way to control the duel and what you draw and if one of those cards activates when sent to graveyard then it gives you more of an advantage. Card B is more useful because easier to summon and can protect more valuable monsters the turn it comes out on field . Being able to boost its ATK on either players turn increases this cards survivability in battle and to take out a higher ATK monster ,which is always a plus. And if something happens to it other than battle it can get you a level 4 back to your hand , which further increases it's usefulness. Flash Flyer - Sakura
I've no objections to his reasoning. (Now if all Leaderboard matches were like this, and got more than one vote in them...)
