epicmemesbro
O.o this deleting comments thing is a tad touchy but.... I won't mind some posts seen as spam being deleted, heck it would greatly improve the general section by removing posts that disrupt or have nothing to do with the thread topic. But it might be a good idea to have a procedure set around it. A while back someone was locking threads just because they found them personally distasteful, rather than them breaking the rules. LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
We can just click Edit, erase the post content, and put the reason it was erased like that. The problem is that it keeps the post there and makes things look unprofessional and messy, if I read it right. Flash Flyer - Sakura
@Cow: The only time I do that is removing advertisement links and other inappropriate content; that's it. Anyway, I can't speak for the other mods on what their procedures are, but usual stuff is generally necrobumps and if the topic discussion has stagnated and devolving into a chaotic mess. Though it depends on the mods in question; a reminder that we don't all have the same ideals and beliefs (what might be distasteful to one of us may not apply to another, and vice versa). CC has its stuff laid out point blank on what happens, but mostly the above. As for deleting content, I usually don't (well, they're hidden from normal members so only staff can see them) unless in extreme cases.
