In fairness, this was built at like 4am, not long after the lunar eclipse thing. Don't ask why

 

 

In theory, the Malis were there so I could access the 8s. I know it's not the best in the world, seeing as it was built at like 4am this morning, so it does need improvements and such.

I'm not sure about it but I guess a decent source of non-tuners for this deck could be

Peten the Dark Clown: When this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Peten the Dark Clown" from your hand or Deck. L3 spellcaster.

Reborn Tengu: When this card is removed from the field, Special Summon 1 "Reborn Tengu" from your Deck.

L4 Beast-Warrior

A continuous source of non-tuners that doesn't really clog that much (like Malicious without Stratos/ROTA).

I don't think clowns are ideal for a synchro spam deck...

Tricklown is hard OPT, and this can make abuse a bit hard at times.

Also, I very strongly suggest running One For One (if you run Mali/Clowns/Peten) as it declogs hands while also bringing out Synchron Resonator.

Juragedo is kind of mediocre IMO, so maybe you could cut one/both to add a third instant.

Indeed, you don't wan't to draw three instants, but it's usually better to open with two than to open with none (Noden is just THAT OP).

Also, if you find space for it, you could try running Mind Control; this is a synchro deck, after all.

Right, I've decided to overhaul the deck, and I'm ditching the entirety of the Clown engine. Any ideas for what I could put in instead?

You are a lot better off with clowns than with anything else.
