mitchermitcher
so like, a friend of mine linked me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VUOadmYwMk&feature=youtu.be earlier, and i didn't even know that sawano was behind it. now i'm in a sawano mood. Hiroyuki Sawano is a well-known man with a magic touch that can salvage unenjoyable experiences into alright ones, and good ones into great ones through his composing. He's done (in some cases, partial) work for Gundam Unicorn, Guilty Crown, Sengoku Basara, Attack on Titan, Kill La Kill, Aldnoah Zero, a lot of other sheet, and apparently Xenoblade Chronicles too, that one's a game by the way unlike the other mentioned ones. A decent number of active users here must've experienced at least one of those titles in some way or another, I'm sure he's no stranger to you. Sometimes you can feel that he's kinda lazy with his composing and his tracks sometimes sound samey and uses the same singer for a lot of his vocal songs and he likes German a lot and some of his OSTs have weird titles and yada yada yada yada but when the man puts in effort, it shows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jyKiqQy5u8 His work for Gundam Unicorn in particular, I feel, is his very best. Just listen to that. The first and fifth tracks in particular are my favorites.
