VCR_CAT
Cards to consider:- Power Frame (overall better than Prideful Roar)- United We Stand (How do you expect to get the sick Victory Viper gains with this build?)- Power Capsule (^)- Moon Mirror Shield (Really good equip to have for this kind of deck) Cards to ditch or cut down on:- Mini Guts (Really just not that good of a card considering your other options)- Prideful Roar (Power Frame is better)- Falchion Beta (Keep this guy at 2 max; can tend to be a dead draw)- Iron Call (Not the kind of deck to be running a primarily R4 strategy; better options to maximize your strategy on)

Roar guarantees a battle is won (even if it takes quite some life points), and power frame, at best, protects you from an attack, then only lets your monster TIE with the opponent's, even worse if they try and kill yours with the weakest monster they have, leaving it open. I don't see the reason it's better.I knew I was forgetting Moon Mirror, though, so I'll drop a Flachion and Mini Guts for that.I also don't see why you would take out Iron Call? The sheer utility of Rank 4s CANNOT be ignored, especially when it means you can practically end the game when your opponent's at 2500 or less with Rebellion, Heartland, or Cowboy. Or Get over anything WITH Rebellion (Or Castel if Battle isnt an option). Or be a towers out by summoning Drei and fusing your opponent's towers. VCR_CAT
The builds I've run have been centered primarily on making Vic Viper beefy af. Even if you're not using it on Vic or Brit, United We Stand is still easily one of the best equips in the game, and knowing how well Gradius fills up the board, you're really missing out by not running it. Power Frame is good because it's always safe to use in the most clutch of situations. No LP cost, and the attack gain is permanent so you can boost it up even further with non-Moon-Mirror equips. Personally, the big 2 I use in Gradius decks is Gravity Blaster and United We Stand. I've won games because of Power Frame; it can be ridiculously good quite often. I was also skeptical of Power Capsule when I didn't run it; but knowing that Victory Viper is basically the ace of the deck that you search out often, Capsule really is not that inconsistent when run at 2, or even 1; and then the return you get for its utility with Victory Viper and even just 1 United We Stand is really, really good. I haven't left it out since I tried it.
Toffee.
Call of the Haunted would be pretty cool here. Revives Honest so you can return it(if you need to), and lets you re-use Jade in a more effecient manner. etc.

The equip variant, from when I used it, is a lot more explosive, but also a lot more fragile, which I don't totally care for.Call of the Haunted would be pretty cool here. Revives Honest so you can return it(if you need to), and lets you re-use Jade in a more effecient manner. etc.The problem here, is space.
Progenitor
Considering the only non-Machines are your Honests, Solidarity is sometimes a very good option in this deck. United We Stand is generally better in most situations, but using CotH to get back honest and keep your grave exclusively machines is very potent. Just one up makes everything 2000. Two up and your level 4s become 2800 beaters. And if you somehow get 3 you have 3600 beaters to gain ridiculous advantage. However United We Stand (on Vic) is much better since just one copy multiplies it's own boost every time you get a new monster, and that boose transfers to all of Vic's tokens (which is why Power Capsule is amazing in Vic Beatdown. You give Vic +1600 and also vic's token +1600, adding a net boost of 3200 onto your total damage from just 3 cards, and if Vic destroys another monster you get a 3rd token, boosting vic, and his 2 tokens again by 800. So essentially your damage output exponentiates during battle with united we stand on Vic in this deck)

Plus, I'd like to, you know, use that Extra Deck. And, since it seems everybody wants to focus on United We Stand and Vic, what would you guys specifically take out and add? Slinky
Shrink or Riryoku over Prideful Roar. And if you want to be cute, you can run that card that turns a level 4 LIGHT into a tuner monster, whose name escapes me at this moment.
Airride
why does everybody hate prideful roar Shrink gets over barely anything, and Riryokwhatever is very slow, and while it's a pseudo honest, I'd argue even mini guts is better, since it at least does massive burn damage too. Airride
Modified version up. Mostly just tweaked some numbers, plus switched Roar for UWS since everybody and their mother wanted in in here and wanted roar out, plus some other stuff.
