Astro Dude
There have been things going around the internet ever since Zygarde's 3 forms have been released. This new info probably means another sister game to the main series. A sort of Pokemon Z, it would make sense to do so. But this is where things get iffy: Which form of Zygarde will be obtainable, and how will it's new forms work? Well maybe upon catching it, it will be nothing more than a Zygarde Core. And when thrown in battle, it absorbs enough Zygarde cells to become Zygarde 50% Forme. In therory there should be two hold items: Cell Magnet and Cell Repellent. Cell Repellent can cause a few Zygarde cells to form around Zygarde Core to make Zygarde 10% Forme. Cell Magnet causes all Zygarde Cells to form around the core to become Zygarde Complete Forme. Interesting idea, no?

Imo they can work like the Gracidea or the DNA Splicers, them being key items (makes more sense than being hold items). Ofc this is all speculation. CuriousHeartless
Seems like an interesting idea. My guess is you get Zygarde Core-probably a story thing takes you over to Terminus Cave, you fight off some Team Plasma Grunts and a Scientist who want to capture it, then the Core just joins your team. Then Zygarde Cells can be found around the Kalos Region and as you find more, you get access to the forms. Maybe you have to go somewhere or talk to someone, or maybe Zygarde can just change on it's own.
King K. Azo
My personal theory is you will find Core sometime near the beginning of the game. The cells are scattered throughout the land, and the more you collect, the more forms you have access to.The names correlating with the percent you need collected in order to use. Astro Dude
Hmmm... That could work. I mean, Only one Zygarde core should exist, and seeing which form works well has merit. We should be game scenario writers. This could be gold. As for competitive play, would Zygarde 10% Forme be considered banned?
Aerion Brightflame
We know nothing about the stats (As far as I'm aware) or move-pool (Since there could be differences) of any of the new Zygarde forms, so it's not worth speculating ban list placements for it. ~British Soul~
As for competitive play, would Zygarde 10% Forme be considered banned? If it has a lower BST than Zygarde 50%, then no, but as Barty said it's far too early to speculate things like that. You guys should be game scenario writers. This could be gold.ftfy
Flame Dragon
Yea, this is really too early to speculate on these kinds of things. If you wanted to you can do so in the OR/AS thread since that is where the pre-Z is being held. Lock.
