Pope Francis visiting/coming to the USA

Anyway, if you are in the US and pay attention to recent religion-based events you might already know about this. In case you dont, Pope Francis is coming to visit the United States. I don`t quite know why yet but I think some of you do, and if you do, feel free to share it so we can make a better discussion thread.

I really do not care where the pope goes.

 

I don't even pay attention to the president, why would I care at all where the pope is? I couldn't imagine what else I could provide on this topic besides a question.

 

Who is the warning in the OP for? I get that some people have a tough time in religious related topics as they almost always have an itch to make it something that it isnt(in both directions. ) but, what did you have in mind for something they may find offensive? I cannot imagine how you would manage that while maintaining a thread that abides by the rules and without the offended person/s being easilly offended by anything. Really.

I'm pretty apathetic towards the pope and where he goes, being a protestant.

I'm a little bummed, my school offered tickets to see him in Philly and I found out too late.

I'm not really religious, but I'd go see him if I could. One of those once in a lifetime opportunities and this pope's a pretty cool guy.
