Shradow
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOsCVgCZp_0 The first in a trio of anime movie adaptations of the works of Satoshi Itō (a sci-fi novelist who wrote under the name Project Itoh), The Empire of Corpses, opening October 2nd, will be followed by Genocidal Organ on November 13 and Harmony December 4th. The Empire of Corpses takes place in 19th century Europe, and revolves around John Watson, of Sherlock Holmes fame. He is scouted by the government to become a secret agent. However, Watson lives in a world where "Frankensteins", human corpses that are re-purposed with a false soul in order to use them as laborers, are used to improve industrial development I've been keeping tabs on this since it was first announced, and I'm really excited to see it. FUNimation's licensed the movies for North America, so hopefully we'll get some theatrical showings over here and maybe an English dub later on. Resident Fascist
That shot of Tokyo in the PV video is so damn pretty. If the rest of the animation is as quality as that, count me excited.
