Maeriberii Haan
Huh so it lost the tribute to control effect but it's now a generic accel synchro and gains flexibility on its second effect. That's really sweet. Not having Emperor's restrictions/drawback is also nice.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Not even accel synchro. You can just GUB a level 7 into this. Honestly seems pretty decent, unlike what else Goyo has gotten recently.
Atypical-Abbie
Oh wow, this is a pretty good Level 8 Synchro, could easily become a staple for me.
Althemia
"When this card destroys an opponent’s monster and sends it to the Graveyard" Goddamnit Konmai, why did you have to put the last part on an otherwise fine card
Thomas★Zero
Well this could confirm Goyo Defender as apart of the set thus with 2 Defender and a level 2 tuner you can make this, plus Defender at 3 allows you to fill your graveyard for Jar of Avarice while reducing the amount of cards going into your main deck for when you go to draw 1 card of it. ~British Soul~
This will defo become a staple for me in my "Make Stardust.dek"Apart from the last part of its effect, seems like a decent card.
Jord200
It wasn't nerfed AS bad as I thought it would be. Not bad. Not bad at all.
Tinkerer
Kinda expected the Synchro part of the materials to specifically need an EARTH Warrior-type Synchro to summon, though I'm glad it is more generic.
GarlandChaos
I like this thing quite a bit. It can be pretty strong in dedicated decks, and can steal monsters. And that design is cool too- ...wait. That design. Yojimbo?! Is that you?! I'm not even kidding, his face and overall build reminds me of Yojimbo! This is so COOL! I was kinda expecting EARTH Synchros too, but as-is I can defo find a use for it. In one of the decks I run from time to time, it isn't uncommon for me to make a level 8 with a non-tuner Synchro. 玄魔の王
Normal Summon Golindbergh, Special Summon Junk Anchor with its effect. Make Stardust Assault Warrior, who will float Anchor. Make this. Assault Halberd also works.
~British Soul~
Ok, looking at this again, the effect is not that great atm since;A: Has to send the destroyed monster to the graveB: Pendulums are a thing

I mean, if we are just going to throw out every card that has "and sends it to the Graveyard" now because Pendulums exist, that limits what some Decks can do. Ryusei the Morning Star
All the Goyos suck against pendulum.dek Just deal with instead of begging for power creep. We need power scale down, not power creep
Hexanort
they nerfed it way too hard....seriously? its just a goyo guardian with 400 more atk and alternative effect to control another monstersince it need a synchro monster as material, they should at least keep the gimmicky tribute to control effect.... Blake
All the Goyos suck against pendulum.dek Just deal with instead of begging for power creep. We need power scale down, not power creepremoving send it to the grave isn't power creep it's complexity creep, adjusting to the increasing complexity Even with that, the Goyos are still mediocre barring King and sometimes Emperor, given the fact that there are very few things you want to steal modern day. There's a reason OG Goyo Guardian isn't even top 4-5 of generic 6s.

That's some scary sheet right there. But fair, complexity in this sense being Pendulums

That's some scary sheet right there. But fair, complexity in this sense being PendulumsIt's really not, though. Qli's not a relevant enough aspect for making Goyo, and Red Wyvern/Nothung/Psyhemuth/etc, are much more valuable, not to mention cards like Vulcan that shine in other decks. Even Kendama can have more uses, at times.

Blake
Source for this? What's the excuse for Magician of Faith and Goyo Guardian? Tewart's OCG counterpart be against Goyo's high ATK score and Faith being able to recover Spells so 'easily' (for just a Flip), since every other major Generic recoverer for Spells are... - Dark Magician of Chaos- Enlightment Paladin- Endymion, the Master Magician All of require significant resource commitments.i mean, the fact MoF is put up there with Goyo should show you it's an overreaction
