Flame Dragon
What I'm saying is this could give Konami some quick cash, I mean the backlash with Legacy of the Duelist probably killed them, not that it's a bad game but they could have added more duels. And I am no troll. I've been a fan of Tiny Toons when I was a kid, and that was 25 years ago. All I'm saying is it would be great to play these games again, games like Buster Busts Loose, Wack Sports, Buster's Hidden Treasure, games from our childhood that defined a generation. I say to them please don't kill off your franchises. Give them to other companies like Nintendo or Sony. No it wouldn't. Again, the vast majority of gamers do not care about those game. And no, the Yugioh side of Konami really isn't going to cause the company and issues regardless of how good or bad the game is. The gaming world and the Yugioh world don't have a ton of overlap. Get the original version of those games and play them then. You don't need for them to be released to do that. Those games are small fish and really aren't important to gaming. They might have had an impact on you as a kid, and thats great. That isn't the reality for most gamers though. And Tiny Toons isn't even a Konami franchise. Very real chance they lost the rights to it long ago so this isn't going to make the chances of a Tiny Toon revival any worse. And, pro tip, the odds of that happening are already near zero anyway. As for the issue of selling their actual franchises to other developers, Konami is still going to be making games for mobile as well as pachinko machines so it is very realistic that they will be able to make more money from those than selling it to Nintendo or Sony. Astro Dude
Bottom line, Konami is dead to me. If they love Yu-gi-oh so much, they should stay as a card company.
The Amazing Avian
They're still a game company though. I mean the IPs are basically dead, but now they're moving to mobile gaming because there's a much higher return on investment than AAA games. Odds are, we can expect rereleases of classics like Contra and Castlevania on mobible.
