bury the year
Flame Dragon already posted discussion for the common spell land cycle in this thread. Here's the rest of the spoilers!
Aerion Brightflame
I like the Black Retreat, and Ugin's Insight (Speaking of which, foreshadowing much?) The two new Eldrazi seem nice, not sure on Quaratine Field but probably not outside of like EDH, and Captain sounds good in limited.
Simping For Hina
Where the hell are the uncommon and common allies? Come on. They are the reason to play Allies, and the rares look so promising.
.Rai
Lore-wise, Wasteland Strangler is Emrakul spawn, so Emrakul and Kozilek are probably both confirmed for Oath, I think. Quarantine Field is great though. Oblivion Ring for 4 is fine when you can play double O-Ring for 6 and even triple O-Ring for 8. It's mostly that second point of being able to do double O-Ring for 6 that'll push it into Standard control decks.

Strangler should be an Ulamog horde. The head is facing up to the left, away from the camera, and it has those boney no-face plates and the tentacled lower body. Anyways, my thoughts: Molten Nursery could see some combo play somewhere, maybe as an alternate wincon in Heartless Myrs. Quarantine Field is terrible. It's a neato card, but the cost just feels one mana too high for me. Retreat to Coralhelm plus Knight of the Reliquary, anyone? Retreat to Valakut is a shoutout to original Zendikar: your lands turn into either Teetering Peaks or Smoldering Spires! The others are all "meh" to me. Got misled by the body shape of the Strangler. Point still stands though, by virtue of Ugin's Insight. Emrakul is still a thing in some capacity. Quarantine Field will definitely see play in Standard. Couldn't ever see that design at one mana less. That's a significantly better Oblivion Ring for no good reason. ~Faytl~
Ugin's Insight looks... Nuts, actually. Like, even if you scry very little, it's three draws for five. That's great.

I'm still most excited for Coralhelm, though. Think of this: 1) Get Knight of the Reliquary and Retreat to Coralhelm onto the battlefield. 2) Tap Knight to sac a Forest/Plains, fetch another Forest/Plains. 3) Retreat triggers on landfall, untap Knight. 4) Repeat steps 2-3 until Knight is sufficiently big. 5) Finish by fetching Rogue's Passage, use the mana from tapping all those lands to make Knight unblockable, and swing. .Rai
Coralhelm is super cool, I won't lie. Enables a lot of really interesting things. And is incredibly solid when it's just tapping down blockers or being a Thought Tank, or giving you blockers.
Flame Dragon
Angel Ally is a cool type line. Card looks pretty good. Still sad that none of the new Allies seem good enough for my Ally deck though. Molten Nursery seems like it can get out of hand fast. Not sure what to think of Quaratine Field for commander. Like, why would you play that over Austere Command? And one of the major benefit of O-Ring is that its 3 mana so you can Sun Titan it back. I'm not sold on it. I have a similar issue with it in standard. Blue Retreat does a decent Thassa imitation giving you a Scry every turn. Tap/Untap can do degenerate things in commander, but it has a pretty hard cap. Black Retreat seems pretty good for the global ping in EDH. Other effect is just bad. Red Retreat seems like the weakest. Turning off a blocker is strong, but the other Retreats just have more substantial effects. I'd rank them White > Green > Black > Blue > Red Ugin's Insight being Sorcery speed is a pretty big knock against it, but the Scry is likely going to be for a lot in this format. Strangler seems pretty meh. That or comparing it to Skinrender is very unfair.
Sixty
the retreats get me going, man. starfield retreats in standard don't even care about mocha's command infinite mana/doubling season/other edh shenanigans make quarantine field pretty dope yo. exile that whole field. Spinny
It's a strictly better cancel at least I guess. Seems very solid.
Rodrigo
Another card that wouldn't have been unreasonable as an uncommon.

Flame Dragon
Another card that wouldn't have been unreasonable as an uncommon. Yea, thats how I feel. Its good. It will see play. But at rare its really disappointing. Aaaand we got a new EDH staple! I wonder how Maro feels about this. I mean, Spine of Ish Sah is a thing so this isn't without precedent. On that note I don't like this for commander. I mean SOME decks might want this if they are really good at coping spells and what not, but I feel its more niche than anything. Poc
Spine is probably better than this since it has built in recursion. The rarity of the counterspell is really disappointing, I don't want to pay 20$ a piece for a cancel variant that will only see standard play. The rarity of the counterspell is really disappointing, I don't want to pay 20$ a piece for a cancel variant that will only see standard play. The instant has various commanders that can copy it though so it has some use. Honestly, my first choice for colorless permeant removal is Steel Hellkite. It needs to connect sure; but it can get multiple things, is reusable, and can be gotten back in most decks. I doubt it will be that expensive. I see it capping off at like $6 max. It's that much more relevant when playing against things like Iona, since those are usually cheated into play via Reanimate and friends. Plus, not too many decks have artifact recursion. [spoiler=Another spoiler, another big image.] Note that the text of the cut-off card above suggests that Pilgrim's Eye is being reprinted at uncommon. Flame Dragon
Looks like we know where we're going to see all the corrupted land art now. Looks like a powerful cycle. The return of Pilgrim's Eye does help the converge drafter, but it being uncommon makes it pretty hard still.
