MasterOfMagicians
Yu-Gi-Oh is based loosely off of Egyptian Mythology and the Egyptian God Cards (none of which are actual Egyptian Gods). ender4449
...they are the equivalent of the egyptian gods.Of course they are going to be overpowered.THEY ARE GODS.:D yeah but the eqyptian gods had the disadvantage of far fewer numbers 3 vs like 3000 this set would be like 300 vs 3000 vs 5 (the titains) Link to comment
MasterOfMagicians
how did the egyptian gods have the disadvantage?none of them were affected by monster effects.None of them were affected by trap cardsand only spell cards such as monster reborn and things that could not be equipped to them worked on the gods (not the destruction spells of course).slifer gained 1000 atk and def for every card in the player's hand, plus his second head ability destroyed anything with less than 2000 atk and/or 2000 def (depending on its position).Obelisk has the same effect as hercules.and Ra had the most devastating effects. The effects are the same, the atks and def are the same.Pretty much I copied the egyptian god cards and put them on the greek god cards. The Elder God Cards are going to take a little enginuity but I'm sure I can think of something for them ;) Link to comment

MasterOfMagicians
Yeah, but I'm not going to do all the Greek gods.I figured Zeus's Children would be good enough. Just something to equal the Egyptian Gods.Besides, there are just as many egyptian gods as there are greek gods, its just the show is so loosely based off egyptian mythology that they never really made the real egyptian gods. Mental Cartoon
It would be cool to see the cards, they sound wicked. Link to comment
