Dragodeus, Dragonox, Wicked Aether, and Empowering Armory

Let's be honest... If you, for whatever reason, were playing a Deck with these guys, these are the only ones you would honestly play.

Dragodeus can halve the ATK of the opponent's monsters that battle with your monsters with it's Pendulum Effect, then searches a Warrior/Spellcaster with 2000 ATK or less at the End Phase of when it was destroyed; can't grab copies of itself.

Dragonox can destroy itself to end the opponent's Battle Phase with it's Pendulum Effect, and then it's monster effect lets Set Warrior/Spellcasters with 2000 ATK of less from your Graveyard.

Wicked Aether can Banish Empowered Warriors from your Graveyard to destroy stuff with it's Pendulum Effect, and then Banishes the opponent's monsters when it's Normal/Special Summoned.

Empowering Armory is an E-Tele for your Empowering Warriors, while also letting you Banish 4 Warrior/Spellcasters to search for an Aether monster, and will boosting your Dragon/Warrior/Spellcasters by 300.

 

So these, despite being a little gimmicky, can synergize quite well with a lot of things. The 2 Level 4s can form a toolbox of sorts that let you re-use a lot of things, while Wicked Aether is basically a reusable Caius. And the field just exists to make these guys playable.

They are cute what they can accomplish, really.

(I... Uh... Made a deck using Empowering Armory with the go-to play usually being the Blue Dragon for a 2300 direct attacking floater, but I guess that's just me...)

 

To be perfectly honest, I liked all the Summoners/Empowered Warriors simply because they remind me of when Yugioh was at a simpler time when those effects could have been more useful (despite them haveing little to no coherence together...).

 

These additions are pushing Empowered/Aether in a direction of ...well... somewhere, though they are still far from being independent.

 

...I'm still hoping for a gold empowered warrior and the black and white summoners though.

Aether's pendulum scales are awful and almost kill its uses as a pendulum scale.
