玄魔の王
This card is on my mind for a specific reason. During either player's turn, when your opponent activates a Spell Card that includes an effect that Special Summons a monster(s): You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If Summoned this way, while this card is face-up on the field, any card sent to the Graveyard is banished instead. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 EARTH Insect-Type monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand, except "Retaliating "C"". One of my friends from Locals went to YCS Toronto, and in one game he tried to chain this to an opponent's Reasoning. The Reasoning player called a Judge, who ruled this could not be chained to Reasoning, based on the fact Reasoning is not guaranteed to summon. However: In reality, this card works like Solemn Warning, which doesn't care whether or not something WILL summon something so long as it CAN. In this case, the bad ruling cost my friend the match. So, discuss this card, its obscure potential, and whether or not the bad ruling would have made sense at the time.
The Amazing Avian
It includes an effect that specials. Doesn't matter if it happens, it can, that's what matters. I thought ycs was supposed to have competent judges. I would have laughed so hard if I was judging that though. Harder if it was an Infernoid player. Airride
Ways to make that clearer: when your opponent activates a Spell Card that includes an effect that Special Summons a monster(s)towhen your opponent activates a Spell Card that includes an effect that CAN Special Summons a monster(s)It's one word but it makes this not happen.
