"Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn" might not currently be available as a Rank up target, but you could use "Princess Cologne" until as a replacement... Question being whether it is worth it (I think not).

Other than that, it seems like a nice addition for "Burning Abyss" decks; send a "Cir, Malebranch of the Burning Abyss" to the Graveyard in a chain where this card would be destroyed, so you can get it back on the field alongside a "Burning Abyss" Extra Deck monster. That only leaves the issue of your opponent being so nice to destroy this card for you.

other than being able to send them to grave, this card has no intrractions with the main deck ba monsters, since its not part of the archtype

it cant be revived by cir

I like almost everything of this card:

- A quick effect Foolish Burial; I don't think I need to say more on this. And is generic for splashability.

- BAs are not among my favorite archetypes, but I can tell what this card can do for them.

- The Xyz change/evolution condition. I once thought on making a Xyz monster that "evolved" from a non-Xyz monster, specifically a Fusion, and now there is this official card and its accompanying rulings (if any) to fall back on and as precedence.

- After the reveal of the Fusion BA, and apparently the last BA card from TCG, it disappointed me that we didn't get any card based on Beatrice, but OCG fixed this.

- The floating effect. Since CyDra Nova I became a fan of float-into-an-ED-monster effects, and this card does that. (Off-topic but I wish we get more cards with effects like this).

.... why exactly would Minerva not work with Astral to get this...? Minerva's a light fairy, this is a light fairy... Princess Cologne sucks, btw. I mean unless you're talking about the fact that Minerva is OCG, but who cares? Go on Dn.

Run in Infernoids for the Quick Play Foolish?

Minerva is a promo card you get for winning things.

It has a bunch of cute combos but it's still a -1 to summon (unless Scarm). Sending Alich is amazing and stuff like Cir into Dante and sending Back Jack is solid but unspectacular. Best thing it can do IMO is be destroyed because a free Fusion Dante is amazing.

Rescue Rabbit -> 2 Normal Fairies -> Fairy Cheer Girl -> Astral Force?

Vylon Disigma / PrincessCologne -> Astral Force?

I dunno, just coming up with ways to make this without Minerva or a Dante.

So far those three are the only naturally-valid Astral Force fodder, and aside from Hieratics, the only consistent thing I can think of to make it with a standard Xyz Summon is the custom archetype in my signature's largest link.

Astral Force is NOT good with this.

You have to use it on Minerva (TCG/OCG if Chain gets banned) or Shock Master (OCG). The former means you're trying your damndest to set up early, the latter means you're either set up or had Stick-Chair... except the OCG doesn't have full Stick-Chair now.

This means it's not great with Shock, only serving to put you an eensy bit farther ahead when already winning, and with Minerva you very likely need to open Astral Force for it to be useful. This means running Extra Copies of Astral Force just threaten dead draws that cost you games (can you imagine opening more than 1 of it? like really), and running 1 copy of Astral Force is just a worse copy of Foolish Burial with more explosion potential. A lot of decks that can use Foolish don't, so why run an even less live version?

Not to mention ED devotion. OCG-wise, you already have a standard of...

1 Rafflesia
3 CDI trio
Other R5s

2 Utopias

1 Shock Bastard

1 Trapeze

That's 8/15 already. Not to mention the other R5s, Castel, Dweller, and so on. And Norden. Two slots for Astral Force is absurd.

And TCG? Clowns, as a deck, are still best as a Seraph engine, though much worse than it would have been with Chain. This means you hava Amaterasu, Delteros, Ptolemaeus (and Diamond), and Ouroboros to consider. And Norden. 7 slots there. Then Trapeze, Castel, Dire Wolf, Minerva, Dweller, Exciton, King Feral. That leaves 1 slot, and that's better put towards even DRXD, just because of how it combos with Trapeze.

Outside of BA, Beatrice is a set-up card. It's not worth running a card you need to open in order to set up moar. Maybe the OCG will play it (if Chain dies), but that's because of the OCG mindet, not because it's a good choice.
