Odd-Eyes Nyarla

Recommended Posts

This deck goes through Outer Entity Nyarla and Astral Force to summon Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon and OTK with it. It's relatively consistent, and really fun when I manage to pull it off. I'm really happy with this deck.

[spoiler=Monsters (19)]

3x Blackland Fire Dragon

3x Armageddon Knight

2x Summoner Monk

2x Goblindbergh

2x Heroic Challenger - Assault Halberd

2x Heroic Challenger - Thousand Blades

2x Dynatherium

2x Kuribandit

1x Rescue Rabbit

[spoiler=Spells (18)]

3x Upstart Goblin

3x Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force

2x Chicken Game

2x Reinforcement of the Army

2x Instant Fusion

2x Galaxy Cyclone

2x Forbidden Lance

1x Book of Moon

1x Foolish Burial

[spoiler=Traps (3)]

2x Hope for Escape

1x Trap Stun

[spoiler=Extra]

2x Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon

2x Outer Entity Nyarla

2x Elder Entity Norden

2x Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon

1x Castel

1x ARK

1x Exciton

1x Cowboy

1x Emeral

1x Photon Papilloperative

1x Cairngorgon

Basically, the combo is:

Have Blackland in Grave

Make Nyarla

Discard a card to make it Rank 5

Activate Nyarla's effect to attach Blackland from the Grave and make Nyarla a DARK Dragon. (It has to be in the graveyard before activation, so you have to either have it in the grave beforehand or discard it with Nyarla's 1st eff, etc.)

Activate Astral Force, summon Rebellion, and pray they don't have a backrow to stop you.

I'm currently testing Dynatherium. It's there in case the opponent doesn't have a Lv 7 or below monster (Rebellion must destroy to attack 3x). It has to take the opponent by surprise: if they know what I'm playing, they could simply not activate it or even use it to steal my Blackland. Good thing no one knows what I'm playing; they think it's a Rank 4 deck with random Blackland Fire Dragons.

Testing Chicken Game too. I need a lot of cards to set up the OTK, but it itself messes with the deck by protecting the opponent and rendering Thousand Blades useless.

The three Astral Force are necessary - if I don't draw it, I don't have access to the OTK and if I can't do that, I might as well play Clownblade. That's why I have the Kuribandit, too.

Should I use a Clownblade engine with this? It would be more consistent, but also take up more space.
