Lilith, Queen of Demons (A DAD counter?)

Just a quick question, is this by chance your religion? Not that it matters, but you seem to feel unusually strongly about this.

 

I would disagree that using a myth that disrespects another would mean that I am by extension disrespecting that original myth. I think it would almost be more appropriate to think of this as an entirely separate myth, with no relation to the Sumerian one, except for a shared name.

 

The fact is, I chose Lilith because I had an idea in my head for a Demon Queen, and as Lilith is portrayed as such by popular mythology, the name seemed appropriate.

 

(And I believe that "fraudulent myth" is a bit of a double negative.)

 

And to tell you the truth, I'm not sure how much I would care if a new religion sprung up and portrayed God as evil. I mean, Satanism has already sort of done that to Christianity. Still, I wouldn't want to be a considered some evil person because I worship what is considered a 'devil'. I can see where you're coming from.
