The White Wolf
The player with the lowest LP takes no damage. Once per turn, during the Main Phase: The turn player can pay 1000 LP, then activate 1 of these effects; ● Draw 1 card. ● Destroy this card. ● Your opponent gains 1000 LP. Neither player can activate cards or effects in response to this effect's activation. Those field spells that allow either player to use them have always been fairly interesting. Exodia users are pretty happy with it, I've noticed. First time I saw a guy use it, the final piece of Exodia was actually the last card in his deck and he didn't have any draw power left to get it. Then I made him discard his hand. Are there really many other decks that could use this, though? I'm drawing blanks. I suppose a burn deck with Bad Reaction to Simochi? Haven't seen that thing used in a while. Well, either way, discuss.
Blake
D/D/D can, due to the nature of their cards. Magical Explosion "F"TK is dumb.
goodfusion
I really wish this had a hard OPT on either the effect or activation.
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Ban Magical Explosion, then we don't have to worry about it.
goodfusion
Ban Magical Explosion, then we don't have to worry about it. And/or Life Equaliser. But really, this card should be limited. The ability to draw through your ENTIRE DECK on your first turn is just stupid, and they could still use stuff like Blasting the Ruins.

Lonk
Ban Magical Explosion, then we don't have to worry about it. Ban RML. It'll kill the FTK in a more effective way and then some more.
ENMaker
I really like this card and have since it was revealed. It itself is not problematic and is just a good generic field spell.
Dramatic Crossroad
Imagine having 900 LP while your opponent has 950 and the're out of S/T removal. :D - Annoying stall on burn decks.- Annoying boost to solitaire FTK decks.- Grand step forward to bringing complex decision making and careful planning in a game of "imma play these Necroz/Shadolls and win"
ENMaker
Imagine having 900 LP while your opponent has 950 and the're out of S/T removal. :D My god I had this happen once. We were both around 800 or so, so nothing could happen and eventually I won by deck out after about 10 turns.
Synchronized
I play three in Clowns instead of Upstart. It's been pretty solid.

GarlandChaos
I personally use this as draw power in a lot of my decks. Don't really care about the FTK decks that use this thing at all.
Maeriberii Haan
Wouldn't this be better in Towers Turbo over Into the Void? Giving opponent the chance to get a draw sounds somewhat better than having the risk of getting screwed over with Into the Void if your didn't manage to secure the entire pieces. ihop
Wouldn't this be better in Towers Turbo over Into the Void? Giving opponent the chance to get a draw sounds somewhat better than having the risk of getting screwed over with Into the Void if your didn't manage to secure the entire pieces. That comes with all kinds of issues such as the 1000 payment quickly dragging you into a position where you're at serious risk of losing to Nightmare Shark Barbar, and against other decks giving them an extra card to try and get a Towers out. Into the Void's so rarely bad, you almost always have a Towers hand and the odd occasion that you do you just hold on to it. Chicken Game is much more likely to cause you problems. Aside from the FTK I really love the implications that this card has. Playing it has sooo many variables and there's so much thought that needs to be put into which effect you will choose to use every turn, and which decks to play it in. I don't think it's anything close to being a staple in the vast majority of decks, but it just needs a lot of testing to see which decks benefit from it and, more importantly, how to use it and play against it in those decks. Big fan of the card.

CLG Klavier
Seriously. It's good only in FTK decks and D/D/D. There is nothing else in which this is any better than Upstart and you guys are trying too hard to find something.

CLG Klavier
Well really, if your ultimate argument about a card is "people misread it" then yeah. This isn't a "good" card. It's very niche.

No, it doesn't happen when you're playing vs anyone who's at least half-competent.

No, it doesn't happen when you're playing vs anyone who's at least half-competent. It was an anecdotal side-note, not an argument in favour of or against the card or its potential uses. Nor was it entirely serious, or in any way challenging the validity of your previous statement which it quoted.
