A series of DARK monsters that gained effects depending on the Attributes of monsters on the field. Their "boss" (if you could call her that) was Elemental Mistress Doriado.

 

Also, now the only pending archetypes and series are Shaddolls (2/3) and Element (1/2)

In that case, I support the addition of Element monsters.

Heads-up that I added more stuff to the YCM mod project (I'll just call it this because the main stars are really the other mods / myself). Draco already added the link to the OP, but yeah...

 

Iffy on Element series; I don't think they'll be an issue here, but at the same time, they aren't exactly good. (That being said, they're partly LIGHT and DARK; if I remember correctly, the LIGHT members are Dragon, Valkyrie and I think Magician; Dark are Soldier, Doom and Saurus.)

I just realized that we never made a Sclera Guild Ritual. I guess that's pretty true to how the anime treated them lol.

 

I bring this up because maybe the "Moyufutsusa" archetype could be another group project, because no one member would be insane enough to try to make a protag archetype that features all five Summon methods and can do each of them competently, in addition to the flavor bits and making them fun to play . . . and it would put more Gishiki Shokan in the AGM, which it kinda needs, plus more fun cards in general.

 

Also, my next project will probably be Wilonka because I had fun writing that prompt.

That also explains why Rituals are still sheet outside Nekroz, Heralds, Sapphy / Sauravis and that's probably it. Probably can add legacy Rituals to Scleras or just do a whole new project. But yeah, the anime hated them after DM / GX so...

Stuff on to-do list:

- Finish up YCM mod project; I'll probably make Night a Level 8, Black the other Level 10 (if he doesn't want the card made, just shift Night over here, and I'll make Dad the Level 8 in Night's place). Other than maybe wanting to make a card based on one of my old YCM friends as a support, it'll probably be done. So...AGM has its Nekroz equivalent. Nai and Smear already done. 

- Do Dragon Firefighter (might be less tedious / ego-stroking than current one)

Still waiting for someone to make the 3rd vote to get 'dolls in, but yeah, not a high priority.

Hey Draco, about the Sorcery Hydras... How do you get off the turn skip effect in the archetype? There don't seem to be any ways of adding material, and the R4s only can be summoned off of 2 monsters.

Anyway, I spun my little roulette wheel, and it landed on me!

So, April's AGM Deck Challenge will require you to primarily run cards I have designed, or that were gifts for me. Archetypes are self-explanatory in this regard, and feel free to ask if a generic was my doing.

 

Surraco has like three days to submit a Synchro Deck, otherwise it's April.

Turns out I've designed more than half our generics, plus a fair chunk of our archetypes. Maybe I need to cool it on design . . . after Moyufutsusa and Wilonka are finished.

 

And maybe another Fusion that explicitly requires Dame of the Sacred Tome for no real reason.

 

And a dragon, can never have enough dragons.

I probably have a sizable chunk of the ED pool; Main Deck, not so much (well, I do design Main Deck stuff but most of that is Archetypal or stuff I'm not releasing). That being said, YCM mod project still needs another Level 8 (probably Night) and Black to top it off.

 

Feel bad for excluding Dad here, but suppose I could slip him as a Level 6 (if I had an idea of what his Deck preferences are; supposedly Zombies/Fiends right now, so...)

Should start posting the Link Monsters I made into Advanced; might as well (even though most, if not all of them have the same Link Marker pattern).

I think that it's kinda funny how many of the generics I've added are basically just mildly interesting gimmick cards- the Dragonforce trio being basically Dragon-Type Gadgets, Vainglorious Journeyman being "lol make an Xyz", Innocent Starter/Eternal Blaze/Secret Ambition being "hey let's make Level 3 Warrior/Spellcaster beatdown a thing", Disasterman just letting you punch whatever your opponent wants to Summon right in the face, Jolt Thrasher being a fun OTK if you can intelligently swarm Level 2 monsters, etc.

 

Anyway, started work on Wilonka.

Mine are either generic ED I probably posted at certain periods of time (which, yes, include some of my milestone cards) or various other stuff. The Fruit Dragons are essentially our equivalent of Dragon Rulers, except for Level 6 spam (yeah...we essentially have Rank 6 meta now with them; I still need to complete the set, but what fruit exists out there and starts with Y in some language). Fruit Dragons have some pun-related name related to their color, starting with the vowels in the English alphabet (A, E, I, O, U, Y) in transliterated other languages.

 

That in mind, I'll see what I can add to the protagonist last name Archetype.

After I finish the YCM mod project, stuff on list:

  • Dragon Firefighter
  • TRON Zoo (MAYBE); of course, because MetalSonic decided to make it a Link engine (which we aren't doing), I may just do it to get a feel of the mechanic.

And yes, Y-Gear is literally Machine-Type anime Gofu spam (well, let's consider it to be 5Ds/ARC-V Synchro spam that can exploit the standard mechanics and play as normal). If someone wants to do it, fine by me.

Yes, the servants are all tuners. No, I'm not planning to make Blind King Synchros specifically. If anyone else wants to make some as support, be my guest. However, based on how I'd designed the archetype you can't do any effects that would inherently shuffle the deck (searching, selective milling, SSing from the Deck, etc.).

 

I wanted to make the archetype in such a way that at a certain point (if you wrote everything down, say) you would be able to predict every single draw for the rest of the game and then freely manipulate the deck armed with that knowledge.

@Sakura - Considering you were pretty explicit on what you wanted out of a Show Jumper support card, I wanted to explain my thoughts behind the card design.  The card is supposed to have its monster name scheme translated as "director" in keeping with super sentai show theme of having some kind of executive/leader behind the team but also the actual show jumping theme of someone who directs the jumping course setup.  It's main effect is once while face-up since you should be able to bounce it back once it becomes a monster.
