Should we all put up a list of things we like for the sake of convenience?

EDIT: Here, I'll start.

DARK and FIRE Attributes

Anything Type that goes well with FIRE and DARK (Machine, Spellcaster, Dragon, etc.)

Evolving boss monsters (Like Raidraptors or HRDA) or combining boss monsters (Anime Meklords, V-to-Z)

Any Extra Deck type works (but I like Pendulum and Xyz the most)

Wordplay names (Like Nightmare Engines, based off the phrase "Nightmare Fuel")

Yu-Gi-Oh-Antagonist Ace monsters (Like Blue-Eyes, Galaxy-Eyes, Red Dragon Archfiend, etc.)

Anime concepts that didn't make it into the game (Dark Synchro, Meklords, etc.)

Definitely a good idea.

Here's a quick reminder of things I like-

FIRE and DARK Attributes

Dragons, Spellcasters, and Rocks primarily, but a minor love for Reptiles and Plants

The number 3 (Level/Rank 3, 6, 9, 12- the number following my username is 3^3 × 11)

Counter systems (Spell Counters, Fungal Serpents- Spore Counters, Aeons- Aeon Counters, Des-Draco- Draconian Counters, etc)

Unusual mechanic usage (using Pendulums to place Spell Counters, split Pendulum Scales,

  Quote
,using Ra forms to make #35, etc)

All Summon types, because hell yeah

Battle-focus (Dark Scorpions, Aromas, my own Dragon Boss Rush)

Ham- going absolutely nuts with effects that might not be practical, but certainly look/feel cool. Nuke effects and killing the unkillable tend to fall into this niche, as well as multi-attacks.

Alrighty. It's settled then. A list of the stuff I like:

Favorite Extra Deck Summon is Synchro

More often than not HATES Grave-triggering effects (so Shaddoll and Burning Abyss).

Favorite Type is Fiend

Favorite Attribute is LIGHT

So favorite combination of the two is LIGHT Fiend.

Likes banishing, banish-triggering, banish recovery (really, I'm just banish-happy).

My favorite Levels are 3, 4, and 7.

I like occult/supernatural archetypes.

General stuff I like

  • Things related to franchises I like (see Pokemon, Zootopia [ZPD archetype], etc.)
  • MPB
  • Stardust Dragon stuff (or Dragon Synchros)
  • Majespecters
  • Ice Barrier
  • My Flyer stuff (either use the link in sig marked [Flyers] under card gallery or reference the 2016 Easter egg locations [#33].)
  • HEROs (although this is going for non-"Rank 4 spam UTL" versions; Synchro HEROs are something I'm doing for a fanfic)
  • Stuff that draws on my home state or other concepts
  • Mostly WIND, LIGHT and FIRE stuff, but diverse Attributes are cool.
  • Psychic Dragons (see Latias)

But yeah, do as you will with this list.

I have a later timezone, so Christmas may be ending or will have ended by the time I post the gift for whomever I'm supposed to be giving stuff for. But yeah, shelving AGM projects for this for the time being (that, and I still have to run the Postseason).

(Now to figure out what my recipient likes)

Could be personal issues.

I probably would be gone too if I didn't find out why my net was shot on Thursday; if I didn't get this fixed, I'd be gone until the 23rd and that would've screwed up my plans to make stuff for this club. (That's why I wasn't online on the 15th, or most of the day, thereof)

Popping in to say that I'm ditching Aztech (something I probably should have done months ago, ahaha), and to add my list of Things I Enjoy to the mix.

  • Spammy archetypes (in the vein of Blackwings, Constellars, Tellarknights, etc.)
  • FLIP effects
  • Rock, Psychic, Machine, and Warrior-type monsters
  • Battle damage effects
  • LIGHT, EARTH, and WIND-attribute monsters
  • Generic, simple effects
  • The weird, pseudo-pack filler cards with strange effects (like Engraver of the Mark, the one Wyrm-type Pandora's Box monster, and Ghost Fairy Elfobia)
  • Weak and/or low-level monsters that make up for their lack of stats with great effects

Massive props if you can manage to combine all of these into ~4 cards. =P

Hi! This seems really cool! I'd love to join into the group. Here's my application I guess?

Member Name: PopularWannabe

Weaknesses:Good quality card art, paying attention to meta

Strengths: Making archetypes for high quality, anime-style, fun, singleton duels.

Trivia: I am in love with custom card-types.

Right now, I don't think we're accepting. (Draco, did you even see this post?)

Ah right, and hopefully Dova shows up; otherwise whomever he was supposed to design stuff for isn't going to be happy.

Well, those two were JellisOP and shadowliepard, but both of them did note their inactivity issues. I see the former around in rare cases, but latter, not so much (if at all lately).

To be fair, I don't really have a definitive opinion on those two.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure JellisOP often, but I think shadowliepard puts a good amount of effort in their threads (but again, the problem of inactivity comes up).

It was up to a vote, but I don't remember us ever reaching a conclusion.
