How about Rap Godz?

* insert generic rapper phrase here *

Warrior-Type monsters based on legends in the rapper industry (and hiphop, including Eminem) and otherwise invoking the hood every time they come on the field. Your opponent will be pressed to get rid of them quickly, lest these rappers get their rhymes going and make the game harder. All of them swarm fairly quickly, and are extremely proficient in Rank 4 plays. Their boss otherwise gains the effects of the monsters used as Xyz Materials and can use monsters in your hand as material. Only salvation for those unfortunate enough to face them; they are extremely vulnerable to removal and their bosses are literal sitting ducks without their materials.

But otherwise, time to bust out them rhymes.

All right. I think I figured out a way around their mandatory Summoning effects:

[spoiler=Show]

FwP9sdG.png

Pendulum Effect:Normal Summoned Fairy-Type monsters cannot activate their effects.

Monster Effect:If this card is Summoned: Equip it to a monster on either player's side of the field. If the equipped monster leaves the field and there are no other monsters on the field: Equip this card to a monster on the field; otherwise, destroy this card. A monster equipped with this card gains 1000 ATK and DEF.

The Pendulum Effects could impede the Summon effects. With this one for example, you just Normal Summon one, and then proceed to Pendulum Summon the rest.

There will be other ways to bring these out without their effects going off, but that's the idea.

It's just occurred to me that um...

EVERY ARCHETYPE I DO IS XYZ! and if it's not Xyz, it's a no-extra-deck concept!

So my next project (since my brother refuses to help me make the Comfy Dragons atm) is BlasterCube!

BlasterCube
What happens when Genex and the Element series combine and sorta almost become meta? This little toy-themed archetype. BlasterCube Core is their Level 4 Tuner of choice, notable in that it's a fantastic playmaker- it's Junk Synchron and Vanishing Lanius for its archetype in the same card, and its stats are passable. Throw in a couple other members that pretend to be it on the field, and a few Main Deck members of each Attribute that can search BlasterCubes of any Attribute but their own, and you can call it a day for the Main Deck. However, their Synchros are another story- Levels and Attributes across the board, but the exact same Summoning condition: "BlasterCube Core" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters. Then, they have one effect naturally . . . and up to 3 more they can get depending on the Attributes of the monsters on the field and in the Graveyard. This means that, depending on how you run them and what you're up against, they can handle just about anything competently . . . but Pendulum and banish-heavy Decks royally screw them over because they generally don't put anything in the Graveyard to make them more powerful. Oh well.

I guess you just sway to what you prefer most. Kind of like how a lot of the archetypes I've made (in AGM and outside) have at least 1 Synchro Monster. Or was it more of a coincidence, rather than preference?

Eh, dropping Rap Gods. Probably wasn't a good idea to pick it up, considering how little I know about rapping or songs in general.

Taking Ytrium:

Ytrium is a series of radioactive monsters, made of material from a meteor. These Psychics have a wonderful Fusion Engine going on, with the ability to fuse with every monster you control, and no less. So you need to be precise wih your swarming. They deal continuous damage to each player for every card they control, so handtraps and gravetraps are a must.

I hate to be very late to the party, but may I join this party? If I can't, that is fine. If so, I find strengths in finding weak points in cards(like how ancient gear golem can be affected spell and trap cards before it attacks) and simple mistakes in strategies. In terms of weaknesses, I have trouble with grammar. I will leave it up to you.

First off, how often will you be here?

Second off, it's up to Draconus to decide.

Blastercubes coming along nicely, I`d say. Any suggestions for Synchro Monster names?

Depends on which will be most active. User shadowliepard already established that they wouldn't appear very often. So how often would JellisOP appear? I know he's been fairly active on this site recently, but will something come up like Champion0, will he be hear as often as me or Draconus297, or will it be like Yuuji Kazami and jeckegull which just came and went?

I don't know. For that matter, I might do a secret Santa thing in CC (well, that and host the December monthly).

As for the new member candidates, I really don't know. shadow already mentioned she won't be active. Not too sure on Jellis; more active but dk.

Hey guys! Bunch of new assignments got thrown at me just the other day, so progress on the BlasterCubes will be slightly delayed. I plan to get them out before Christmas Break, though. Also, AGM gifts sounds awesome.

For the AGM gifts, just tell me if you want an AGM gift from me to you (essentially, I make a card for you; generated, too).

Ah; here it is:

By the way: Anyone want something for gifts (by the by, I'm generating my cards for you, guys; so if you want something from a certain archetype, say "Majespecter", I'd like an image, too)? So far, I have Draconus297, egotisticalghost, Talim Rave, and Garland Chaos.

Still going to work on Fickle Fairy, but I think I might as well pull up another project for the near future. This one looks interesting:

Time Goddess/Chrono Angel

Archetype of WATER Fairy-Type monsters which each have an effect that activates in your standby phase. They're fairly slow, but have a multitude of effects that actually allow you to repeat your standby phase, or conduct your standby phase at will, allowing you to build up momentum. They are very normal summon reliant, can do some other phase-related shenanigans, and their synchros can repeat once per turn effects.

It's funny; each one more tricky than the last.

Okay, regarding AGMGifts: We can and will do them this year. However, does anyone have preferences regarding it being a Secret Santa or free Christmas-type deal?

Secret Santa: We are required to make a gift archetype/series for one other member, decided at random. Must be at least 4 cards that fit to their preferences, but beyond tha,t go nuts.

Free Christmas: Everyone makes one card for everyone else. This may be tricky with our less active members, because we might not be sure regarding personal preferences, but we should be having fun regardless.

Either way, here's a quick reminder of things I like-

FIRE and DARK Attributes

Dragons, Spellcasters, and Rocks

The number 3 (Level/Rank 3, 6, 9, 12)

Counter systems (Spell Counters, Fungal Serpents- Spore Counters, Aeons- Aeon Counters, Des-Draco- Draconian Counters, etc)

Unusual mechanic usage (using Pendulums to place Spell Counters, split Pendulum Scales,

"if this monster and "Aeon Magician" are destroyed or banished in the same turn, you can Special Summon this monster and "Aeon Magician" from your Graveyard or Banished Zone",using Ra forms to make #35, etc)

All Summon types, because hell yeah

Battle-focus (Dark Scorpions, Aromas, my own Dragon Boss Rush)
