Post it later once YCM returns to normal. Oh right, and suppose I should note that I made Numerix-092, however it was originally designed as Number 71.

Numerix-092: Elite Equestrian Star Goldrider

Rank 4 - EARTH - Beast-Warrior - Xyz - Effect - 2300/1400

2 Level 4 monsters

You can only use the ① effect of "Numerix-092: Elite Equestrian Star Goldrider" once per turn. ① You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 Level 4 Beast or Beast-Warrior-Type monster (from your hand or Deck). ② While this card has Xyz Material, your opponent cannot target other monsters you control for attacks or card effects.

(Partly designed as a Zodiac Beast tech, but there are certainly other uses. Yeah, two copies of this = opponent needs to resort to sweep removal. I was testing this on YGOPro; didn't really need to use it, but probably due to the Decks they were in not really needing the extra help)

Finished with Vanadis, still working on Highlander (even if a little). So I think the next one I'll do is Moth Princess from Page 55.

Insect-Type monsters that focus on high Level spam and inhibiting the opponent once they get themselves onto the field. They have a bunch of low Levels that can Tribute themselves quickly for higher Levels, similar to Edea/Eidos. Their support cards are what Insects need to be good; being generic enough to search any Insect monster and do whatever. The main problem with these cards; they're vulnerable to all forms of removal and they rely on being the highest Level/Rank on the field to remain powerful; otherwise they shrink.

I have to remind myself that I'm the one who wrote that prompt; so yeah, make use of it.

Gotta find a new theme to work with from the thread, or I work on side projects (have an idea for Zootopia stuff).

Danke.

What did you mean by Tribute themselves? The way you worded it, they sound more like Kozmo than Edea/Eidos and Monarchs..

Basically the smaller members have effects that can enable additional Normal Summons to go into the higher Levels (hence why I said like the Monarch vassals). Think of NS spamming smaller Insects, then Tribute Summoning multiple high Level Insects.

A better idea would be like Yosenjus, but yeah, it's still up to you to determine how to go about the theme.

Alright; thank you. I'll see to posting these by the weekend.

Also, when should the Sclera be posted?

You'd have to ask Draco about them, but if we're done with them, suppose we can post Scleras.

Although, just as a reminder that when the set goes up, there'll need to be a slight explanation (assuming this is going into Advanced). Hopefully you've all looked at the new rules, but those changes I mentioned to you all in passing are in place right now (well, as of the beginning of September). Just keep it short though.

-----

I'll have to think of a new theme later, because I do have coursework. Either I take a break from AGM sets and design personalized stuff, or I look through things again.

Yeah; I didn't notice them immediately in the first few days of September. But by now I know that the design notes are now required; I didn't see them immediately, as it said the last update was from July.

Hence why you've seen all of my recent archetypes (in Advanced at least) include a prompt (not just the AGM archetypes).

Though yeah; I should message Draconus297.

Discones? Discord (a synonym for chaos) + scones?

No problem, Nyx. Take as long as you need.

As for a prompt:

Sclera Guild

A DARK archetype focused around Tributes and destruction that pays homage to all eras of the game up to this point. The whole thing was designed by the entire AGM working together, and it's made to be played in all manner of different ways, with several different bosses you can focus around. Picture characters from every YGO anime fighting the Sclera Guild as it evolves, and you have an idea of what we were going for- a threat that grows over time and is a functional Deck in every era.

I'm thinking of doing "(of the) Red Thread", because I should probably get out of this weird Fusion kick (even though "All-Splice" is really tempting). However, I do think that someone should get on "Robotisized", because we have a lot of fun Synchros, Fusions, and Main Deck monsters (no Xyz, because they have the same Level as what they're ripping off) that could be hilarious if given a mecha-version. Looking at you, potential "Robotisized Amazoni Paladin".

Thank you!

I like Chaos Crunch the best because it sounds more like a brand name. I'll done when I'm done.

Chaos Crunch: It stays crunchy! Even in milk!

What's the prompt for that one again?

Robotisized

The AGM's very own Malefics. For the low low cost of banishing a given non-EARTH non-Machine-Type monster from your hand, Deck, or Extra Deck, you get its "Robotisized" version- its Type is changed to Machine, and its Attribute is changed to EARTH, and it suddenly gains the utter weaksauce weakness of being banished if you have no cards in hand, although its Level remains the same. However, what it gains is 400 ATK and DEF, a buffed effect, and some way to protect your precious hand. And, unlike Malefics, you can have as many of these mechanized monstrosities on the field as you damned well wish, and they can all attack. Slow? Yes. Bricky? Sure. Prone to OTKs if you can get them working? YUUUUUP!

That...actually sounds intriguing. If I can manage to find art for them, I'd like to do this one.

You can just do them written if lack of suitable images; no shame in that.

(Should probably do that when designing my Zootopia-based one, if I can't be bothered / don't have time to make the images myself. Seems to be a common problem; ideas are around, but no good pics)

------------

Oh right, and post the Scleras when you're ready.

If you've noticed, every one of my sets and singles have generated cards, and I plan to continue posting the cards like that; it's more of my personal preference. The only times I do make written cards are in the Create the Above Card game, and that's mainly to someone else making the card before you do.

I would say that it's a generational trend*, but it's been broken a couple times.

[spoiler=stuff]

Older members like me have no issue with Written Cards, since we know lack of images can be a deterrent to making them "nicer". We can use the cardmaker too if needed, but can switch back/forth if needed.

Newer members like to have those cards made with pics, at least from observations I've noticed of newer members a while back (or least what some of my older friends noticed).

But yeah, gotta look for new Archetypes to make, while still balancing coursework. Luckily I'm not doing a monster this year, so can be regular me. Oh right, and for Yinghua, you can use the revised version if you want.
