Archetype Generator Meta

And Nyx . . . we could also urge Dova to make a Manga Meteor Dragon.

I'd be happy to remake my Toon thread, as long as I have more than just 1 card to add.

I'm personally in favour of remaking the Toon concept as a whole, with Toon and Manga both being archetypes involving the Toon sub-type, but with different playstyles, so we don't just have the sub-type doing only one thing.

I don't like that RUM though. The only restriction seems to be Attribute.

I'll edit it to give it a Rank restriction.

Here's a suggestion: "Manga" Toons are cards that debuted in/never managed to escape the manga/an anime season that was never dubbed/the movies, and tend to have secondary support effects to compensate for low stats. Here's a couple possible Manga Toons:

Manga Meteor Dragon (adds a Dragon-Type Toon from Deck to hand)

Manga Blast Magician (adds a Spellcaster-Type Toon from Deck to hand)

Any Manga Lightsworn/Machina card, maybe, for a revival ally.

Also, I'm giving up on Vile Phalanx. I like this, though:

Zodiacaptor

Zodiacaptor is a group of eleven effect monsters and one Xyz monster named after the twelve Zodiac animals. These Spellcasters are all Level 1, but they have an interesting effect: They can steal Levels from monsters your opponent has by banishing them from the deck! And they put them to use! Because whenever one of them banishes a monster: They all gain one level, whether they're in your hand or on your field. The issue there is that they can't be Special Summoned. Their Xyz monster is Zodiacaptor Dragon, a beast of a Rank 1 monster, summoned with 2-5 Zodiacaptor monsters. Like it's normal counterparts, Dragon can steal Ranks feom your opponent's Extra Deck, and it gains ATK and DEF for each one it has.

While I'm still on Scathach, I think this is the next project I'll take up next week:

Vanadis

LIGHT Fairy-types that have effects that help the opponent as well as benefit you, giving them better rewards for you getting better effects. It should be difficult to create advantage over your opponent but easy to spam monsters, essentially playing the Maxx "C" challenge by yourself. The Synchro(s) are DARK Fairy-types that have aggressive effects with costs, symbolizing Vanadis' (Freyja's) duality of both love and war. The spells and traps generally protect your monsters and passive-aggressively affect the opponent's board.

I would do Kitchen Kingdom, but I can't find many images relating to that one.

I'll handle something small, and go with Chainsaw on page 59.

Created by weapon engineers for the government, the Chainsaw archetype is based off of relatively small, harmless creatures equipped with hidden metallic blades that emerge out of these creature's appendages (such as wings and claws), and rotate at an alarmingly fast rate. They are an archetype composed of EARTH Insect, Beast, and Winged-Beast-Type monsters that have low levels, high ATK (usually in the 2000s), and low DEF. Most of them come with a drawback for attacking, but because they're able to Special Summon replacements of themselves (with costs) when they're destroyed, they could easily tear through your opponent's LP. These cards are best used as support for other decks that lack power.

Technically, the Fruit Dragons are Level 6 and require Dragons to work, instead of their corresponding Attribute, but you can consider them as a similar brand of Rulers. BTW Draco, that's all of them so you can add them to the OP if you've not done so. (I don't have a WIND one since lack of image and the naming convention [would need to find a word in some language that starts with "y" and translates into pink or some hue/tone of it thereof])

In terms of progress on RI-ON, just need to have the support Spells done and I can post them. Not really satisfied with how they came out, but yeah. After this one, should be able to design Archetypes faster, now that I'm not bound by pack restrictions; right now, still technically designing stuff to fit into packs. Numerix-091 and 092 should be out within the week.

Oh right, and Draconus, you still have not added the Fruit Dragons to the generics pool, nor the two Vanilla Pendulums I posted some time ago (though in this case, I'll just repost them in the event you forgot about them).

---

Ah right, and Archetype Game is slow again. (Need to look for next project from there; otherwise I design original stuff)

Hey, quick question about my new Chaos trio (Yuki Onna of the Hot Springs, Sandblaster Duuyos, and Archfiend of the Fair): I tried to make them worth playing, but not as game-shattering as the Envoys were. Did I succeed?

Also, I just realized that even with how big we've made Numerix, Synchro and Fusion can kinda compete- the former with several useful monsters and Synchroad Revival, the latter with Author of Fusion and quite a few worthwhile Fusion Spells.

I think my next project will be this little number from page 19:

Highlander

A Synchro Turbo Fiend archetype, which, like Crystal Beasts, head to the Spell and Trap Zones after being destroyed- but, unlike CBs, jump into your OPPONENT'S Zones, as Equip Spell Cards for your opponent's monsters that make it harder for your opponent to get the equipped monster off the field. Interestingly, you can still use them as Synchro Material in this state.
