Numerix-001: Fegefeuer Enigma

LIGHT - Rank 1 - Fiend/Xyz/Effect - 700/700

2 Level 1 monsters

You can also Xyz Summon this card by using 2 Rank 1 monsters you control as the Xyz Materials. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If Summoned this way, this card gains 2000 ATK and DEF. Cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; until your next Standby Phase, neither player can activate the effects of Effect Monsters the turn they are Special Summoned.

Boneserpent

This archetype combines the deck searchability and mill power of the Reptile-type while changing into Zombies on the field/in the grave and taking advantage of their grave spam.  They are an archetype chock full of level 4 and 5s with 0 DEF whose effects tend towards inhibiting the opponent over progressing themselves.  They have a handful of tuners but their in-archetype Extra Deck monsters are Fusions.

 

Like the monsters, the archetype has a handful of traps that like to stun the opponent.  Each of their conditions are slightly restricted, but they all make up for it by searching/special summoning after they trigger or by skipping your opponent's next battle phase if destroyed.

I got a couple of monsters in for Boneserpent. Prompt sounds overkill with the floodgate on BOTH monsters and Trap Cards but I'll do my best.

EARTH / Level 4

Reptile / Tuner / Effect

ATK / 1850 DEF / 0

This card is treated as a Zombie-Type monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. During either player’s turn: You can Tribute this card; this turn, negate any card effect that activate in the hand. You can only use this effect of “Boneserpent Aglyphous” once per turn. You must have a Zombie-Type monster in your Graveyard to activate and to resolve this effect.

 

Boneserpent Opisthoglyphous

EARTH / Level 4

Reptile / Effect

ATK / 1850 DEF / 0

This card is treated as a Zombie-Type monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. During either player’s turn: You can Tribute this card; this turn, negate any card effect that activate in the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of “Boneserpent Opisthoglyphous” once per turn. You must have a Zombie-Type monster in your Graveyard to activate and to resolve this effect.

 

Boneserpent Proteroglyphous

EARTH / Level 5

Reptile / Effect

ATK / 2350 DEF / 0

This card is treated as a Zombie-Type monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. During either player’s turn: You can Tribute this card; this turn, negate any card effect that would move a card in the Graveyard, other than itself, to a different place. You can only use this effect of “Boneserpent Proteroglyphous” once per turn. You must have a Zombie-Type monster in your Graveyard to activate and to resolve this effect.

 

Boneserpent Solenoglyphous

EARTH / Level 5

Reptile / Tuner / Effect

ATK / 2350 DEF / 0

This card is treated as a Zombie-Type monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. During either player’s turn: You can Tribute this card; this turn, neither player can Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except by Pendulum Summon. You can only use this effect of “Boneserpent Solenoglyphous” once per turn. You must have a Zombie-Type monster in your Graveyard to activate and to resolve this effect.

Tori, if you want one, you'll have to ask if you can make 109 or something, as all of the slots are filled.

Oh right, and I'll go ahead with a vote for Tareya/Fiendrache. Need to check if I have other Archetypes that are worth promoting; a warning that I haven't posted them on YCM itself.

Might have to adjust the numbering thing, since there are more than 8 of us who are currently active in this club (which is where the original arrangement came from); granted, Yuuji did make 101 when he was still in here (again, he's no longer a member at this time). 

 

Let's see what Draco has to say about the matter in regards to how things should be done.

Alright; NOW here it is with the proper name:

LORE:2 Level 6 monsters

Cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster on the field; it loses 300 ATK and DEF, its effect is negated, and this card gains that monster's effect. When this card is removed from the field: You can banish 1 card on the field face-down.

I reviewed the first one on that list; should put the theme in the main post for other members who can't be bothered to view the Archetype game thread for it (which is basically most people outside this club).

 

In essence, thing is pretty much dependent on the Rank 3 and said Overgrowth cards to really do much. (Astral helps to an extent, but yeah)

Hmm. Yeah, you make many valid points. I'm going to make some changes when I can.

 

Meanwhile, here is the prototype of my Numerix!

 

Numerix-105: Infinity Gear Archfiend

Rank 4 ~ DARK ~ Fiend/Xyz/Effect

5 Level 4 Monsters

When your opponent activates a Spell Card: you can detach one Xyz Material from this monster; change that spell card's effect to one of the following:

 

- Target "Infinity Gear" monster your opponent controls gains Spell Counters equal to it's Level/Rank.

- Take damage equal to the number of Spell Cards in both player's graveyards x100

- Shuffle 5 Spell cards from each player's Graveyard into their respective decks, at random.

- Discard your entire hand.

- Special Summon one face-up "Infinity Gear" monster from your opponent's Graveyard or Extra Deck to their side of the field in face-up Attack Position.

 

ATK: 3000

DEF: 3000
