I've decided to do Spellbooks again for the TCG.  With the release of Magical Abductor, Spellbooks can now easily access Pendulum Summons with her searching ability.  Reaper and Destroyer are really good cards, but the lack of a consistent Summon method had left them rather underused.  With Eccentrick and Abductor, they now have a reliable way to Special Summon themselves from the hand.  I just wish Abductor was a Scale 2 rather than a Scale 3, but oh well.  The Veiler is being tested because she can be easily searched out through Abductor and Life pretty much gives me Synchro Options.

How can I improve the efficiency of this Deck?

Pretty crazy idea.

Your Spellbook engine has a few flaws, most notably being the three Masters, and the three Eternities.

They're both extremely cloggy sometimes, and should be ran at 2.

Chicken Race has very bad synergy with Spellbook Tower, and should be taken out for other consistency cards, such as Reckless Greed, Upstart Goblin, and Pot of Duality.

I'm not a big fan of making a really inconsistent deck (Spellbooks) even less consistent by adding pendulums, but oh well, prepare to brick hard.

Not trying to sound rude, just saying that this deck is not, and probably never will be effective, and that you should play other Spellbook variants instead, such as Priestess/World/Reaper Turbo.

-1 Master

-1 Eternity

-1 Power (can be ran at two, but I think it's a bit better at 1)

-2 Chicken Race

+3 Reckless Greed

+2 Pot of Duality/Upstart (maybe Upstart if you're actually able to Pendulum Summon, which I doubt will consistently happen, but if it's your win condition...)

EDIT: just realized that you can't activate Pendulums the same turn that you use Crescent, so you should probably cut Crescent for other things, such as additional draw power, or maybe even discard traps (maybe Allure of Darkness?).

Do NOT run Chicken Game in Spellbooks, as they have a field spell, and heavily depend on it.

Also cut Crescent, since it's too restrictive in this build.

Crescent stops you from activating pendulums, and draw spells the turn it is used, taking consistency/speed out of deck even more than the amount it adds.

As for double Power, it's ok, although I'm not a big fan of it.

If you like it at 2, keep it at 2.

I'm just hoping to god that Konami erratas Spellbook of Judgment like this:
During the End Phase of the turn this card was activatedadd "SpellbookSpell Cards from your Deck to your hand, except "Spellbook of Judgment", up to the number of Spell Cards activated after this card's resolution Divided by two, then rounded up. , then, you can Special Summon from your Deck 1 Spellcaster-Type monster whose Level is less than or equal to the number of cards added to your hand by this effect. You can only activate 1 "Spellbook of Judgment" per turn.

Would be balanced, and would make the deck actually playable ;).

Just felt like I had to post this, even though it's off topic.

Also, Reaper Turbo isn't slow at all, it's just less consistent than the other variants I've mentioned.

And your build is Reaper Turbo without mill engines, and pendulums instead XD.

Reaper Turbo isn't just Fool, it's also Exemplar (which is fast), Reasoning, Monster Gate, Spellbook of Life, and the occasional tribute summon after a successful Reasoning.

Reaper Turbo can be one of the fastest variants, and has the best monster advantage by far, although it's also the least consistant (a LOT of dead draws).
