Exodia Necross/Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord: The Deck

Queen of the Abyss

If anything of this game has caused been the prime target of controversy, that thing would be Exodia. Exodia had always been the best friend of stall and solitaire Decks, and has never been fair in spite of being legal for the longest time. I decided to take the daring challenge of turning this around and give Exodia a real niche without it being too nutty. The Deck is revolved around summoning either Exodia Necross or Exodius and working with said monsters, either beating down with Necross, or getting closer to your win condition with Exodius. The cards work a lot closer to the anime than the TCG, and thus I decided to use the Ritual mechanic since Exodia Necross was a Ritual Monster, in addition to using the OCG arts since I don't really have new ones.

Feedback is always appreciated!

I noticed that there is no longer an 'instant win' condition by simply possessing the five different "Forbidden One" cards in your hand. Was that intentional?

That is correct! I wanted a more fair and less stall driven win condition for this Deck, which is where I decided to focus on Exodius, by which is more practical than it sounds on paper, and still giving you Necross and other plays to react with otherwise. The main point is focusing on Exodia as a theme and not just an alt win condition
