chairman ali
#1: Needs more focus on the focal. There's just too much fx diverting the audience from looking at the focal. You can do several things: Blur, darken and lighten or repositioning. If you go with blurring, then you have to decide which parts and how they should be blurred (motion, gaussian, lens, etc.). If you go with darkening and lightening then you need to understand the basics of environmental design: Foreground, Midground, Background. Darken the foreground and it will lead the people to the midground and background. Lighten and lower the contrast of the background and it will lead the people to the midground (which is essentially where most of the action takes place). And you can also blur the fg and bg after this. And repositioning is self explanatory. #2: I like it, great atmosphere but too much going on. Maybe blur something to give it a better sense of atmosphere. The atmosphere is already good but blurring will probably bring it out more. #3: I think this is finished. It looks great. Madsen
These are fresh. Lighting+atmo are really nice. #1 my fav by far. also is that gangsta gibbs?
Thar
#2 is my fav. The lighting on the focal is natural with the background. I'd personally blur the background and the C4D layered in front of the focal for depth.

Thanks m8, I'll keep all this in mind. Sometimes I feel like I go overboard with fx but Idk.As for number 3, I'm glad it looks good, but it feels kind of unfinished to me still, maybe it's cause it's not that many layers or something, but I still feel like it's missing something. These are fresh. Lighting+atmo are really nice. #1 my fav by far. also is that gangsta gibbs? >gangsta gibbsmy jabroni. dude is mad underrated. But thanks man. I've been trying to work on atmosphere lately so I'm glad you say that. #1 is my favorite too, but it seems like everything I try to do to it makes it look worse #2 is my fav. The lighting on the focal is natural with the background. I'd personally blur the background and the C4D layered in front of the focal for depth. Thanks, 2 was the one I was gonna submit for SOTW but I couldn't really figure out were to go with it. If any of you are interested I could upload the xcfs
