ENMaker
On the left is the pre-errata, on the right post-errata. If this had not been changed to make it target, how much more play would you imagine it would see? Or was it originally read as targeting anyway, and the errata was just to clear confusion? CLG Klavier
It was always a target, ruling-wise. Old wordings were confusing like that. TBH I feel this card is good nowadays. Triverr, Delteros, Trapeze, Dante, Shaddolls. So many bosses that float and want to attack, and this swiftly gets rid of them, unlike Fiendish Chain. Forest Fire
i mean if you want non destruction removal, air force would be better since it doesn't target and hits more than one thing. against pendulums though, this might be better

It just holds it off. Meanwhile removing it from game is relevant in case of Nekroz for example, and simply due to the fact it reduces their number of Dantes. Air Force is also worse in case of things that have on-summon effects like Construct because it just lets them re-use it.
Zauls
Issue is with D-Prison is that there's loads of other Traps that take higher priority when you're building a deck, one of which is Mirror Force, so the only kind of deck you'd play this in is a very Trap heavy deck that cares a lot about non-destruction removal. evilfusion
It always targeted, it just wasn't obvious that it targeted (aside from ruling pages). Same with Sakuretsu Armor. I tend to really like D-Prison because it's disruptive enough against certain cards to warrant using it, but I'm more likely to use Mirror Force because MF gets rid of multiple monsters. If I have space, I use both Mirror Force and D-Prison.
