You can have enough destruction because when ever will a game go long enough for you to kill 6 waves of monsters? You're missing out on things like Fiendish Chain and BTS which are also amazing cards, but in different situations, so it should give you a more well-rounded answer suite.

Also ops, derp on that part, my mind was thinking "rank 7" and Big Eye popped instead of Lucky Straight. I meant Number 7 there, my bad.

And Challengers give slightly more consistency because you can run RotA alongside them, and running X number of monsters + X number of searchers for them is better than running 2X of the monsters because it makes you thin your deck, drawing into other things.

A deck that does nothing but make Number 7 would never get to a point where making Number 7 wins the game. There needs to be some groundwork laid down before bringing it out achieves anything.

If hieratics (A deck centered around OTK) arent enough to push No.7 then RIP.

That's not what he means and his standpoint is great.

Number 7 itself is never enough to win the game, so funneling JUST on it is bad. It's better to have a deck that can do other things aside from Number 7, so you can both bring it out and do some follow-up things to actually win.

But you wouldnt be. If you were smart you wouldnt play No.7 at just any time. You have access to big eye and draccosack (more easily accessible aswell). You can use Labradorite aswell to make the R6 and grab the Hieratic xyz, summon Darkness Metal and go into more shenanigans.

You have a point, and im not dissmissing it completely and i did say it was just something to experiment with.

Basically the entire point of the deck when I initially made it was the fact that Number 7 is a card who is, ultimately, reliant on luck. Therefore, the deck having literally only one way to make him which relied on 2 non-searchable cards added to the sacky-ness of the whole thing, and made it an even more joyous occasion when it clinched games. When you have 3 level 4s out, slapping down a Galaxy Queen's Light and making Number 7 is arguably one of the worst plays possible in terms of actually trying to win, and obviously nobody would ever expect it. This makes pulling it out and the effect going off so glorious that your opponent can't even get too angry about it. And that was the idea behind the whole thing.
