.Rai
The obligatory Duel Deck teaser card is here. nice to see that Annihilator maybe will take a break for a cooler mechanic to come in, and also nice to see some weird-ass 5/8 stats to show off the weirdness of the Eldrazi. Also, new Avenger of Zendikar art.

bury the year
Oblivion Sower is interesting. I'm going to assume the Eldrazi mechanic this time around has exile worked somewhere in there, as "put any lands exiled onto the battlefield" instead of "put any lands exiled this way onto the battlefield" hints that we'll probably be seeing other cards exiled on a regular basis. As for the Avenger reprint, I've always loved Aleksi Briclot's art, and this one's no exception. Holy sheet is that piece nice. So much better background than the vague color splash we had before. @Giga: Delve and this guy won't be in the same Standard, though. ):

.Rai
Yeah, Khans will be in format with BfZ. Theros block rotates out, not Khans/FRF.
bury the year
Does khans not rotate out next spring? Whoops, I misremembered how rotation's gonna be working. Theros block rotates out when BfZ comes in, Khans and Fate Reforged rotate out with the next block, and Dragons of Tarkir and Origins rotate out with the block after that (two-set block #3). Damn is this confusing. EDIT: Rai's beaten me to the punch.
Resident Fascist
I'm really excited for Avenger of Zendikar reprint. I've always wanted to get one and that new art is gorgeous. As for Oblivion Sower, Eldrazi is by far one of my favourite tribes in this game, so I love it on mere fact that it's an Eldrazi. I have to ask a dumb storyline related question, are we likely to see Ugin again in this block? I'm going to assume the Eldrazi will be re-sealed, booted from Zendikar, or something like that. He's definitely in the story. He'll probably be on a few card arts. Whether he actually gets a new card is up in the air. There's a lot of potential planeswalkers for this block, and we can't fit all of them in. Jace, Gideon, Nissa, Kiora, they'll get new cards. There's quite a few other contenders though, and not enough planeswalker slots for all of them to get a card. Also, when we say boot the Eldrazi from Zendikar or seal them up again, it's worth noting that two of them have left. They'll probably get rid of Ulamog once and for all at the end of the block though.

I know there's a card where he's clearly standing on Eldrazi organic matter and looking over triumphantly, I forget the name. What happened to Kozilek? .Rai
Yup, Near Death Experience shows him killing a bunch of Emrakul's spawn, totally nearly dying, but Emrakul's still kicking. Emrakul and Kozilek just left. We don't really know why, but they probably just got bored or something, or ate their fill of tasty Zendikari mana. Spinny
Super stoked for avenger of zendikar reprint. I was hyped for more zendikar stuff to be around since we got Zendikars Roil which Is a pretty fun card to play around with.
Trebuchet MS
Yup, Near Death Experience shows him killing a bunch of Emrakul's spawn, totally nearly dying, but Emrakul's still kicking. As demonstrated in this article. Gideon had finished clearing out waves of Emmy's spawn. And then Emmy itself showed up and Gideon was, "nope, can't solo this sheet."
