In some ways generic Ritual support, in other ways a BLS support card, so the best of both worlds...I guess.

 

You can Tribute this card; add 1 Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of “Ritual Core” once per turn. If you Ritual Summon exactly 1 "Black Luster Soldier” Ritual Monster with a card effect that requires use of monsters, this card can be used as the entire requirement.

As generic Ritual support, it's an alternative to Senju. While it can search just as well as Manju, you cannot use it afterwards to attack (not that you would with those stats) or go into Rank 4s. But, you can still Xyz Summon instead of searching. It also cannot be Flip Summoned for another search, but that's a smaller downside.

 

I haven't familiarised myself with the new BLS support yet, but as it stands, you cannot use its second effect if you use it to search without first getting it back. That's fair enough, and not necessarily conflicting as its searching cost turns it into instant DARK banish fodder for BLS.
