LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
So we all know remakes are often made, and all the time people have very strong feelings about it. Now, my question is, what games SHOULD get remakes (or sequels). Note, don't mention games that are planned to have them. Please give reasoning along with the game, and feel free to discuss others' choices (but please be polite ^^; )
Trebuchet MS
Lunar Knights had several unanswered questions. A sequel is much needed, but it's a shame the whole series is effectively over.

.Rai
I'd love a Sonic Heroes 2. The gameplay concept of Heroes was pretty clever, even if the game itself was unpolished.
Aerion Brightflame
Give me my combined Golden Sun 1 and 2 remake, or the 4th game. Just give me more Golden Sun.
Agro
But srs. If the team spent as much time on Sonic games and put as much time into polish as Mario, then they'd probably make much better Sonic games. Nintendo spent like a year on Super Mario 64 just designing how Mario moves. I feel like they really started trying to work out movement stuff with Sonic in Lost World, but it was implemented so poorly that I have to question how much time was spent on making it feel good and natural. Then there's level design issues. Sonic has to go fast, he isn't Sonic if he doesn't go fast. It's like playing SMB1 with the run button automatically on and also having another button to make him go faster. The problem? Obstacles become impossible to pass before they even appear on screen. I feel like if they added a bullet-time element, it'd work perfectly, but instead we get what Unleashed introduced, with the speed boost thing that makes it almost impossible to beat a level without dying on your first try unless you're taking it slow. Discluding all of Sonic Boom, since it's not even a sonic game (tho Shattered Crystal arguably is) SEGA is really good at making the first level of any game since that's all you really needed in the arcade days to get someone to play your game. Afterwards has always been shoddy as hell. As far as Sonic games that could be good redone or sequelized with the sort of detail and knowledge of modern game design that I've laid out, I'd go with Sonic 1, Adventure, Heroes, and Colors. The last of which is arguably the best 3D Sonic game.
Lonk
Did you ever hear of this game before looking at this thread? No? That's why it needs a remake. Without a doubt, both Baten Kaitos and Origins need a remaster to be on the Wii U. The story of the games are amazing, the card battle system is pretty cool and the world is breathtaking. Even if the first game's voice acting is crappy, all of the characters of both games are very endearing and the 2nd game gave the world Guillo. The world needs Guillo. A third installment wouldn't hurt either.
Ultradragon16
Probably a generic choice but Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. It was my favorite generation and I felt it had a great soundtrack and some great secrets. I feel that all event only items should be able to be obtained in game somehow (Azure Flute, Member's Pass, Oak's Letter, etc.) and they need be filled with even more secrets than before (while still re-imagining the original secrets). Astro Dude
Remakes of Megaman 2-10 and X 2 and 3. 3d robot masters and Mavericka are cool, just can't understand why Capcom wouldn't do that? Also X9 and 11.

Face McShooty
Honestly? I'd like to see a Stuntman: Ignition sequel/remake because while it was fun, I wish it had been longer and each level was longer than they are in it. It needs a current gen remake as well imo

Considering we got a Gen 3 remake last year, it stands to good reason that we'll get DPPt once Gen 7 comes out (after the regional stuff). But yeah, definitely the event items need accessibility. When it'll be out, probably next year or 2017.(Gamefreak still has a lot of XY/ORAS things to release for us) ---------On my end, Ape Escape definitely needs that 4th version of theirs. Last release was several years ago, so definitely needed now. (They even hinted at it from back then, but never happened) I enjoyed AE3 though, and the premise behind the game is fun. (Still playing it nowadays out of boredom)(Never got to finish 2 because one of my cousins effectively destroyed the disc)

Yellow Jacket
I've got two. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 3 and Star Wars: Jedi Knight 4. These two series were arguably the best in the Star Wars line up alongside the Battlefronts. And no. Old Republic is NOT Knights of the Old Republic 3. I honestly have a theory with the exception of FireRed and LeafGreen that all Pokemon remakes are made within the generation double the original (G/S/C Gen II, Remake in Gen IV; Gen III remakes in Gen VI) meaning we won't get a Diamond and Pearl remake (since the remakes never get remade) until Gen 8 (VIII) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ How about a new Coliseum? Up until Gen 5 every Pokemon game had a console game they could connect to.

Up until Gen 5 every Pokemon game had a console game they could connect to.Looking at the pattern, it is plausible that DPPt remakes will be in Gen 8 or something; if it is indeed true.Of course, there aren't any sequel games for X/Y in announcement, so 2015 won't have any new ones. Let's just hope the franchise lasts long enough for an 8th generation, and if fans will still have time.A lot of us are already in our 20s, so even if it does reach Gen 7/8, time may not be available. ---------I think I mentioned XD remakes at one point, but yeah Coliseum needs one too.Ardos did say in XD that he'd revive Cipher and we're on the top of his hit list. (Though hopefully they allow us to choose our own gender + link to the DS games in these, if any.)
