if god is a creature with superior cell structure and mind set, with superhuman like abilities and prowess? yeah.

 

if god is a being of supreme goodness etc that s/he is made out to be in the bible? nope.

I don't believe there is a god, but if there was a god, he would have nothing to do with the Bible, Koran, TeNach or any other religious books, symbols, other things.

Religions are what we created ourselves.

 

And btw, Monotheism is just one of the countless possibilities, just like Polytheism, Atheism, Matrix theory, Aliens that took creatures from all kinds of planets and put them together on Earth (Let's call that the South Park theory ;)). It are all possibilities, but it's just that most of the people are Monotheistic right now. It the past, Polytheism was the most popular, and I predict that Atheism will be the next thing that everyone believes in (Or has that time already started?).

I just doubt that mankind knows the truth, from the infinite possiblities.

lol the big bang is more realistic than a big fat dude sittin on a bunch of clouds watchin tv at a reception desk, letting people into some dort of golden gated cloud land called "heaven". heaven is obviously made up and comes from the term "haven". its a bunch of crap. god does not exist. science rules end of dude. if u cant face it, forget that people ever made him up.

Of course God doesn't exist, how would he have been created? The bible is probably made up, theres no evidence that it's the real thing. Those religious dorks think they are so smart, and God will tell them everything. "Jesus", yeah right. Lawl.

Actually, Angels & Demons (book by Dan Brown) gives us quite a good reason for that. Pain is a part of growing up.

 

And I consider myself to be a semi-believer. I believe that God perhaps started the Big Bang, and then was killed in the explosion.

And if god can be eternal, why can't the universe/big bang be eternal? The universe itself could've created everything.

Oh again this question which always results in huge discussions and theories...

Alright I won't tell you my whole opinion because if I did we would need a whole library of books to have enough space for it.

To make it short, I'm a deist, so I can imagine that there is sth. like a God but I don't accept the whole blabla thingys around it.

 

@ the person who said that if there's a God he doesn't care and prefers to let bad things happen in the world:

If God exists, I don't think he/she must necessarly be that "good", but maybe he/she's got a normal human personality, too.

 

But most of all: I think EVERYONE has the right to believe in whatever he or she wants. After all, religion is not a science, but sth. metaphysical and a subjective decision. So believe in whatever you want.
