Wow, these are quite similar. They both deal with difficulties Meklords have in non-existent searchability and only affecting a very limited type of card. So it boils down to how and where they do stuff.

A has a +0 search with no other drawbacks. Appearing from the hand, it is also harder to stop. The second effect requires you to have a monster you want to destroy, but this can also lead to further triggers for Wisel, Skiel and Granel. Also, you can dupe it to get out Asterisk, I guess.

B can immediately trigger a searched Emperor, but restricts your Summons that turn. Furthermore, needing to be NSed makes it a bit more vulnerable. The second effect just being banishing for an instant target helps, on the other hand.

I guess I'm voting for B for being faster, even if it is riskier in some regards.

Both cards are indeed similar in terms of searching out a Meklord + turning an opponent's monster into equip fodder.

Let's see where this goes.

Card A requires that you have another monster to blow up while this exists in the Graveyard, however you can discard it and set up from there.

Card B can search/blow self up and go into whatever Meklord of your choosing off the bat, although yeah it will restrict you from summoning anything but the Emperors or their Army monsters.

---------

In a way, I'm casting my vote for B, given the amount of help it provides to the Deck as a whole, specifically getting an Emperor out + setting up for the kill quicker.

A has its own perks (such as being discardable + not locking down your summons for the turn; plus Duplication eligibility), but yeah it's a bit slower.

Technically, you could discard A; add Meklord to hand, then summon a monster of your own + blow that up, but that requires you go turn 2 OR you somehow get a monster on the opponent's field.
