Tribute 1 monster. Special Summon 3 "Nightmare Archfiend Tokens" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 6/ATK 2000/DEF 2000) to your opponent's side of the field in Attack Position. When a "Nightmare Archfiend Token" is destroyed, its controller takes 800 damage.

Because combo'ing this with Red Dragon Archfiend Scar Right it totals up to 3900 damage to your opponent and then 6900 damage after RDASR attacks directly if possible.

Use with Fire Mirror Force. Someone had to suggest it.

Good combo for 8400 damage though hope you set your life higher than the damage for when it hits since it hits the player first. Still for Jack Deck Red Resonator with Red Sprinter and etc. does help avoid self defeat due to this.

Fire Force burns half of origibal ATK.

In addition, archfiends only burns tje opp.

You would burn for 3000

Opp would burn for 5400.

Scar-right can only destorys special summoned effect monsters, and token monsters are always treat as normal monster, so I don't think that combo will work

Because at the time this was made, Ojama Trio was either Limited or Banned.

...

At least, if I remember correctly.

Trio was only hit at that time because it gave 3 "worthless" monsters that clogged up the zones.

And by this time Synchros were already a thing, so they weren't even worthless anymore.

The card here just doesn't make sense at all.

Umm actually, Ojama Trio did delay the opponent a little bit.

Often times the opponent would  have a Synchro already out plus one of those monsters that Special Summon something from the Deck when they destroy something by battle (Hydrogeddon, Juracs, Flamvells, Blackwings) and by using up Ojama Trio in response to their attack often meant they'd clog their field with non-Tuners and stop said effect monster effects from happening. Same use at least once happened to prevent Starlight Road from bringing out Stardust afterwards.

Or the opponent would find ways to use them for Synchro Summon but only after Main Phase 2 when they crashed one of them against something to clear the zone.

Back then iirc we had a single Torrential and 0 Dark Holes and 0 Raigeki.... and overall less strong removal. Smashing Ground was still a possibility to main deck seriously sometimes.

Though it wasn't consistent because Ojama Trio was at less than 3 and Nightmare Archfiends required a Tribute, which even if you had something to Tribute for them like a Quibolt Hedgehog, you still were more likely to save it for a Synchro.

There's also that Ojama Trio technically combined better with original Red Dragon Archfiend because Defense Position.

Well to tell the truth, I always wanted Ojama Trio to go up as well as Scapegoats since forever ago, including during the Synchro era, so I'm not saying those things entirely justify it being on the list at all either....
