Progenitor
Well there you go. Rock stun.dekLack of Diamond Core kinda sucks, but to compensate I've tried simultaneously speeding it up whilst slowing my opponent down.Only boss monsters are Gaia Plate and Megarock, both of which I have found severely suboptimal. CnC appreciated. Restrictions:EARTH League - All Subtypes, but only 5 in the extra deckOnly 1 Limited / 2 copies of 1 Semi-limited card

goodfusion
Only boss monsters are Gaia Plate and Megarock, both of which I have found severely suboptimal. This is interesting... I would like to understand why you think this.I could understand Megarock Dragon as you need to banish A LOT of Rocks to give it good ATK and is a nomi, but when playing Rock-Type decks I've always found Gaia Plate to be a very nice card. Its ATK halving effect allows it to crush anything under 5600 ATK and it's very easy to summon.

It continuously banishes your rocks, and over time completely removes the concept of stun out of the deck, and when you finally draw the revival card you need, all your stuff is gone. Instead of throwing it in I instead made the deck stop your opponent from forcing you into a situation where you would need gaia plate entirely, which keeps your resources in the grave and always keeps revival cards live. Late game Gaia is ok, if only to get in that final game winning push. But throwing him in there would take away from the balance of the deck, and could very easily cause deadraw hands early game that force the drop and make it hard to recover. Darj
I don't really get why you have that much milling (2 Mathman + 2 Bombardment) when the only Rocks that want to be milled are Revival (and you don't even main 3 copies), and Tackle Golem, but I also question the effectiveness of the latter since, in my opinion, its effects aren't as impressive while it is not an amazing card to draw into. Then again, I have no idea with kind of decks you will be standing against in this Gym Challenge, so Tackle Crusader may be more worthy than I think. But, if it proves to not be as effective, I suggest to drop the Tackles, cut the milling cards to up to 2 between Mathman & Bombardment, and add more speed/deck thinning (maybe Upstart?), 3rd copy of Fossil Dyna, or I don't know what else. On the Extra Deck, I'm feeling that you could replace S.H.Ark for something else, since I don't see the deck going for Rank4s as often, and you already got Castel for on-spot removal, so in a way, S.H.Ark looks somewhat redundant. Instead, you could main a different EARTH Xyz that offers another option without conflicting with Block Golem, such as Diamond Crab for getting over big guys, Giant Hand for more stun, etc. or Non-EARTHs such as Dweller or Exciton. As for the Limited card choice, I know Mole can be really annoying for the opponent, but at the same time it can be kind of slow by taking your Normal Summon every turn and whatnot. I'm really tempted to suggest Skill Drain instead, which would further strengthen the Stun impact of the deck without hurting you too much. Progenitor
Skill Drain is definitely an option, but it pretty much completely takes my extra deck out of the picture unless I have a planter. Tackle Crusader is actually pretty amazing in this deck. Most big attack monsters have relatively low defense. A combo I like to pull out is to make GoGoGo Goliath instead of castel with crusader and anything else, detach to recruit an stun monster, and finally flipping the big bad guy face down since most of the time they will have less than 2400 Def. The reason I have so much dumping power is because I run so much revival with CotH and Block Golem. It's my makeshift way of searching in place of Diamond Core. Plus sending a revival golem and adding it to my hand as my perminant rock monster can actually be very crucial. I'll think about tossing arc out for something. It really doesn't matter since I only really Xyz with block golem and only if nessesary. Also the lack of a decent boss means this deck can have a very tough time killing. I think Upstart could really come back to bite me in this build.
Queen of the Abyss
Other than killing Arc for Giant Hand and maybe Emeral for DCK or Cowboy, I think this is generally a solid build. Playing against this, it definitely is really nice as a deck for the gym. Lots of staying power, which is actually pretty important in these sort of duels, and it has a lot of defense to it than I originally assumed when I went into facing it. Block Golem helps a lot in speed, and the stun aspect of the Deck is huge. I would say maybe 1 Gaia Plate, but I understand why it isn't something to be encouraged. Well done by a Deck builder who I wouldn't expect less from
