I'm a bit confused by it. So, he's walking to somewhere, somewhere that is brightly lit. But then there are thick shadows either side. It's pretty to look at and it looks quite melodramatic but I have no idea how to improve it.

The use of contrast is actually really nice. Of course, I will mention (as I always do) that I know next to nothing regarding graphix, so anything I say should be taken with a grain of salt.

Rather than acting as a path, the height of which the left shadow strikes the body creates more of a windowed effect. This is actually really nice, as it helps direct the eye to where it needs to be (while some more subtle work within the shadows prevents it from being empty space).

In my opinion, the biggest issue is in how the left portion seems to be broken at about shoulder-height. It makes the render more visible, but at the same time I kinda feel like it interrupts the flow of the piece. Does that make sense? Idk sheet.

hnghh i like it, colors are neat. get me a v2 where you do that nice sharpened smudge from the left side on the right side, gives more texture and would help with the blurryness of that smudge on the right hand side, just needs some sharper elements imo. also decrease the contrast on that blue effect by the arm

Really like the softness with the colors and all, but maybe more texture/definition to the smudge to differentiate more from just blur. You kinda hit that with the sharpening, but I'm sure there's diff brush settings and stuff you could experiment with, idk, I'm garbage at smudge
