Metalhead Dragon
Just a fellow Yu-Gi-Oh! enthusiast passing by, not much of a fan of the newer game, although I admit it is really fun, I just kind of miss when me and some good friends of mine would make builds of our own and duel off against each other, back when online was just dial-up so you usually just made a deck out of what you had. I remember obsessing over Great Maju Garzett and almost always beating friends with it. Nowadays its usually just pick an archetype and go. I just kind of get rather annoyed how most of the archetypes I enjoy usually are only good for one or two banlists. When I did play on DevPro quite some time ago, I used to use Batterymans quite a bit. I also used to use The Agents a lot, because of how consistent they could synchro summon at times. After a while the nostalgic feel just kind of wore off, and I havent really felt the urge to play it much since. I also find the game a bit too aggravating to keep up with, I am sure more devoted people are interested in it, and it is perfectly fine with me, just I can be a bit of a slow learner when it comes to videogames. I am rather mediocre at every game, I am not bad, but not extremely good either. As for other hobbies, I enjoy old Nintendo games such as Punch-Out, most of the Mario games, Banjo-Kazooie, Glover, Zelda games, and other games of the sort. I also like the old WWE wrestling games, up until SmackDown Vs. Raw 2007 (The last amazing one in my opinion) I personally think that Here Comes The Pain was the best all around wrestling game, 2007 was the best of the realism, No Mercy was the most fun, and Wrestlemania XIX was the underdog (however I could see people saying Day of Reckoning was). I also love Sonic CD as it was one of the first games I remember becoming obsessed with, I would often take the PC disc with me to listen to in my CD player when my family used to go out and do stuff. As for music goes, I am a metalhead who will listen to everything that people reccomend me, no matter the genre, I usually try to fit it in my queue. I just couldnt stay with one genre, because it is way too hard, I always feel like I am missing out on a hidden gem in a genre, so I often look for new bands. Of course I have bands that I dislike, and some are probably shocking, considering most are what a lot of people enjoy, but I am not one to judge about what others listen to. I may argue about music, but I think that if you like something, you have every right to listen to it, and you should never let someone take that music away from you. Sorry for such a long line of text. Just wanted to explain myself a bit. To those who ask, I am 17.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Welcome to YCM, Metalhead Dragon. In terms of the card game, yeah it's basically turned into "choose Archetype, play this and hope you don't get creamed and/or go broke from playing it". Seriously though, a lot of Decks are pretty expensive nowadays (I'm pointing at you, $1000+ Nekroz). If you want to go into TCG, feel free to do it.While yes, the mood can be a little tense at times; just don't get riled up if someone says a certain card is crap. ------------Anyway, I'm pretty sure there's a place for you to express your interests on here.Don't be afraid to post stuff. Also, it does go without saying, but make sure you've given the rules a bit of a read, so you understand our policies and all that. If you need help around, ask one of the mods or a veteran member. If you're into making your own cards, then check out Custom Cards.(It's right below this forum, and is also my primary section; I moderate this section and Q&A as well) Have fun xD
