(For TCG version, replace N'tss and Nyarla with Star Eater and Cowboy)

(Side deck has also been optimized through input from fellow friends)

- Catastor is a searchable way to put Shurit back on the board. It also has a decent level, able to be used alongside Claus for Valk, or any level 4 Nekroz for Trish. Cat + Exa also equals Decisive Armor if needed. It's actually much much better now than it used to be.

- Exa, like Catastor, is also level 5. It's tribute ability searches both Catastor and Armor, and is also potent with Valk. Banish effect recovers a banished Shurit or puts a banished Sorcerer or Princess on the field for an Xyz play

- Sorcerers banish effect is mostly useless (if not completely useless). Main use is another level 4 Nekroz for use with Mirror, and its tribute effect to provide value with Valkyrus.

- Burial is to recover lost resources from Mirror, Valkyrus, and Spell grabs

- I'm still very iffy on Aquamirror Cycle. I have no opinion on it one way or another at this time.

- Would love to replace Book of Moon, but nothing immediately comes to mind for its replacement.

3 mirror? Mirror is the worst one. If anything I'd run 3 Kaleido 2 Cycle 1 Mirror because realistically most of the time you're gonna want to be mirroring with Shurit and once you do that it's gone. I'd probably cut a Claus too, you'll never need more than 1 if you have no Djinn.

I'd drop Book; it has hardly any utility in the current meta apart from in the BA matchup. You need Daigusto Emeral for the turn-1 Valkyrus play and since you're running Norden I might even suggest 2; the mirror is mainly about grinding out the opponent, and Emeral is excellent at that. Though because Shurit is limited is limited now I suppose the Valkyrus play is less consistent...

From the side, imo there are better alternatives to Statue, especially if it's just for the Qliphort match-up. The main concern against Qliphorts is getting their floodgates out of the way, since the Nekroz core is inherently stronger than the Qliphort core, and Statue doesn't accomplish that. Twister and Fairy Wind are your best bets, though against Towers Turbo Statue shines.

How is 3 Denko, 1 Dancess and 3 MST working out? I would think that that would be overkill, but if you're playing against a lot of backrow...

Props for the randomly sided Zubaba General.

Looking really good; innovative, and I suspect we'll see more Nekroz builds branching out with Exa and Great Sorcerer in the coming months. Aquamirror Cycle is interesting and it seems amazing in the mirror (for Trish-dodging), but not so good in other matchups. I would probably side it.

The only thing I don't like about this build is the Burial, and I feel that that could be easily replaced by something better. I don't know what, though...

I've always been a fan of 2 Trishula, and this build seems to support that well. Gungnir is a great option for this deck imo, since it seems to be a "toolbox" version of Nekroz.
