Toffee.
From what I can tell it is generally agreed to be the worse.Best one is 6 =D IMO
Agro
6 is probably the best one, yeah. Though I haven't played through 1 and 2 yet. 4 was my first, actually, so I just kinda like that one. My main problem with it was where one of the bosses, I want to say it was video man, made you do like a stealth mission that felt almost impossible at the time. Luckily when I played it, I ended up having to reset and didn't get him on any of the 3 times I played it through. lawl
BlackBeartic
I remember the thunderman mission where this guy curses you and makes your HP drain outside of battle. Doing that sheet on Game 3 or higher was the worse thing i've done. Also the mission that reverses your controls (I think the videoman mission?) is probably 2nd worse. Astro Dude
I haven't started 4 cause I gotta get all the chips in 2 and 3. Seeing RoahmMythril's LP of BN3 it looks like it will be hard, especially the lovechild of Flame Hyenard and Ariel, a.k.a. BubbleMan.exe. Though the Soul Unisons in BN4 are neat. Shame you need three playthroughs to get them all. Hmmm... Wonder what they'll do for the VC releases of BN5 and 6?
Toffee.
especially the lovechild of Flame Hyenard-NOTHING can top him. ... Unless if they added actual voice acting to the BN games.

Those bothered me a bit.

Astro Dude
Wait, wasn't Mark Gatha, the guy who was X and Domon Kasshu in BN5? How is that a bad thing?
Toffee.
I never really played through my copy of Double Team the whole way, but like... Isn't the voice acting in that game, like, the same as the NT Warrior dub?
Agro
I dont remember the voice acting in BN5 being bad at all. What are you talking about?
Shradow
I don't remember BN5 (or any of the main games) having voice acting, was it only the DS version? Or maybe it's just been way too long since I've played them.
Flame Dragon
I'm not sure the extent BN5 DS had voice acting, but I do know the Jack-In line did and it sounded BAD. Like, Lan sounds like he is more than twice is actual age.
BlackBeartic
Well, personally it's been ages since i've played through MMBN 5 DS so idk if the voice are truly bad. Maybe I should play through again and find out?
Trebuchet MS
Double Team has voice acting. Not fully, but it goes for several common lines like Jack-In, Battle Routine, and various pre/post battle chatter. The VAs match those in the anime - meaning you get the NT Warrior voices if you play it in English.

So that's not too bad, hmm.. i feel like the DS audio quality might have made it sound worse than it was probably because I think the NT Warrior voices were alright. Shradow
From what I remember, the dub wasn't 4kids terrible or anything, but it was back in the day when a lot of anime English dubs were sorta meh, NT Warrior included. EDIT: One of my favorite things about this game series is that, once you get practiced enough, you are nigh untouchable.

Pause while charging, release B and unpause when it's purple, keep holding B and unpause otherwise. Tenouttaten.
Shradow
I actually did that for a lot of things, Chaos Unision included.

Tenouttaten. Thats an amazing trick. I know I was actually abusing pausing when I was going for the S rank on Woodman since I would be able to know which tile wasn't safe and which was. Astro Dude
I think that was fixed in the VC version. So, best Soul Unison?
BlackBeartic
I think that was fixed in the VC version. So, best Soul Unison?I wanna say Metal just because it powers up the Vulcan. But Wood and Tomahawk soul can make you invincible to a point so...
Shradow
Either Charge Cross or Erase Cross. I liked Charge Cross's tackle giving invincibility, and Erase Cross's laser was awesome, too.
Trebuchet MS
So, best Soul Unison?Between 4 and 5 I have my preferences to Search Soul both times. Yes, I love Charge Shots that hit anywhere and bypass invisibility. Yes, I do love being able to scramble the rest of my hand. If you count Crosses, I fancy Tomahawk Cross. Status Guard is always cool, and a dual-elemented LifeSword-range Charge Shot is also amazing.
