I see. Well I just completed BN2.

If you want, I can give you the lowdown on opponents for Battle Chip Challenge.

Speaking of, some of the opponents kinda don't add up.

What I mean is either most of the opponents died in early games so how could they come back?

As for opponents:

E class has for final opponents Ms. Mari, Dex and Mayl. However if you are either of the latter two, Dex faces off against Tamako from BN3 and, like the anime, Mayl will fight Madd from BN1.

D Class are elemental classes. Match has Mr. Match in his BN1, complete with FireMan, Sapling has Sal and WoodMan, Droplet has Doc Froid and IceMan, and Battery had Count Zap and ElecMan.

C Class is really challenging. First Quick. This is where things get iffy. The final opponent here is Dave. He didn't die so he must have reformed to compete. Next Block with Miyu and SkullMan. Now Cliff... Okay now things make no sense. The final opponent is Arashi and AirMan. I mean didnt Arashi die in BN2? If so how did he come back?

B class is elemental again. Fireworks: Mr. Match from BN2, HeatMan, Verdant had Ms. millions but the true final opponent is Anetta ande PlantMan, both reformed. Next is Stream with Masa and SharkMan. But One opponent Takeo Inukai and BeastMan. Again, like Arashi, he died. How did he come back? Finally, Thunder. Raoul and ThunderMan and Gauss and MagnetMan and from BN3, Rei Saiko and FlashMan.

A Class is East Meets West. For East, Sean, the main antagonist from BN2 is here. That's cool, but how does he get FreezeMan? West, Yahoot and MagicMan.

S Class has a few other faces like Princess Pride and KnightMan have recovered, Match is back with FlameMan, and Tora and KingMan.

X has Dark Miyabi and ShadowMan, along with Ribbita and ToadMan

Y has Mr. Famous and GateMan

Z has Bass.

:O

I probably will grab this off the VC once I get back from orientation. Which will be on Friday so yeah.

I can also continue my MMBN 3 LP

The thing is you only have two save slots in the game.

I picked Kai as a start, then Mary, then Lan, then Mayl, then Chaud and finally Dex.

Oh, and there are no Program Advances either.

Meh that's not so bad, considering the mechanics of the game and all.

I actually might hold off on getting this though because smash update and stuff.

I see.

Anyway, Any favorite Program Advances? Mine is anything that can cause the most damage so I can get rare chips, like CustSwrd + VarSword + ProtoMan.

Of course VarSword has it's uses with well timed button combos. The trick is pulling them off...

A shame Program Advances got nerfed from BN3 onward.

Prixpower from BN 3

Element Sword

Evil Cut

Big Noise

Cosmo Prison

Yeah it's a little annoying, but tbh spamming PAs was pretty broken XD

I kinda see where you're going but part of the fun is finding them out. The anime was the first form to showcase the Program Advance with Sword + WideSwrd + LongSwrd. And when I played Network Transmission I found some unique combos.

Now for least favorite Navis. I cannot STAND BubbleMan, not only for his design, but for his battle restrictions if you need his V2 and V3 chips.

Oh, boy, how about we start with every one who camps out in the back row?

Cloudman has it a lot worse due to how much his Liberation Mission attack sucks, but the fact that Chaos Tomahawk exists is sufficient catharsis.

Others include Sparkman and Drillman who won't stay on the field barring short moments.

Bubbleman Omega

Drillman Omega

The two relatives have got to be THE WORST sheet i've ever faced. I guess I can see why they're cousins because they are literally stupid annoying.

Not to mention their omega forms are the worst which is why I put omega next to them. Flashman's Omega Version is actually kinda annoying too (although he's kinda weak too so it balances) and fast as hell. I like flashman though so...

Yeah, some of the netnavi counterparts look awesome while others are meh.

I have yet to face BubbleMan Omega but the conditions to do so are cheap. I mean your health has to be in the red zone to lure him out. That is just stupid.

I have seen footage from BN5 and it looks good. With a VC re-release it could be better because if you screw up on getting an SP chip you can do it all over again.

Your HP being low is the condition to fighting his Beta form.

His omega form (and all other omega navis in BN3) is fought by getting 5 stars and then inputting a code on the main menu screen to get them to appear. I'd understand why'd you think that because of the way Omega Navis work in the later games, but yeah in BN3 they are set locations like the Alpha versions (but in completely different locations).

Pretty sure the Stars you need to get are the All Standard Chips, All Mega Chips, Beating Bass GS, Beating the Time Trials and Beating Alpha. Once you do that just go to the main menu and...

Highlight Continue, hold Left, press R, R, L, R, L, R, L, L (after getting first 5 stars). Once you do that you can enjoy hell yourself :D

BN3's got so much bonus and hidden content that its postgame, without factoring in the Serenade side plot, has been incredibly enjoyable. But of course you'd need a guide since it doesn't mention a lot of things in-game...

Personally I don't even know how they figured out the Omega Navis code.

Nothing in game tells you about it.

You know, I bet I know why they restricted copies of certain chips from 5 to 4 in BN3 onward:

You know how 5 chips in sequence get you O combos? Imagine if you will having 5 M-Cannon Chips necessary for O-M Cannon and you're fighting Alpha. Since Alpha's core has 2,000 HP... Well put it simply, this would make Alpha a joke. Just use O-M Cannon and Alpha would be beat in less than 10 seconds.

That is pretty scary .-.
