Can we immediately disqualify Hub Style from the discussion first?

I personally had Aqua Shield as my first Style. Not quite the best situation when my next boss was Thunderman. Had a bit of trouble getting the Shield to work properly, so I settled with its autobarrier every time. Then I realized how stupidly fast the Bubble Shot charges and loved that Charge Shot to bits. Heat has its uses, but Aqua shines in how frequently it fires off.

Heat Guts came next and I couldn't get enough of Super Armor, since there are times when you'd just end up eating a bit of damage no matter how well you can dodge, robbing you of certain coveted S Ranks. So much that the moment I learnt of Extra Codes in BN3 and that the Super Armor code holds no drawback, I insisted on inputting it every single time until I found the Hub Batch.

I agree with the above post in terms of excluding it from convo.

I don't remember particular which was my very first style change and i forgot what change i had at all in mmbn 2, but i DO know that in the LP that i'm doing i got Custom Style during the bubbleman scenario. Good ol lucky me got Heat Element during an event that's nothing but aqua viruses and BUBBLEMAN. I'm good enough to be able to get over that hurdle though. I'm going for ground style next because shenangians with the stage changes, then probably Bug Style.

Skipping any of them wouldn't feel right to me. I had fun with every game in the series, and I don't remember exactly how much influence one game's plot has on another, but I think it'd be best to have knowledge of everything. For one, with recurring villains in the games, so you'd know how to fight them better later on.

Well, I started at 4 and din't feel like I had missed a ton. But yea, thats how I feel. Actively skipping something seems off.

So, I'm going to get the old BN games so I'm curious, how good is 1? I was told that its not that good and that its fine for me to skip. Curious if others agree with that since skipping right to 2 seems weird to me, even if 1 isn't that good.

MMBN 1 pretty much explains how megaman came to be and the backstory behind all that.

So if you like plot pick it up :)

inb4 needing a guide for the Power Plant.

I've gotten lost a few times already, worse being when I needed to find the kid. I just happened to click on the car and out he came. I'm going to try to do this without a guide. Only checked on so as to get a read on how far I was. Also looked on gamefaqs cheat page but got nothing from that.

Not sure if I'm going to go for 100%. Likely going to just beat the game and do any obvious post game stuff. Kind of want to get to 2 since I know it and 3 are very popular. Though all things considered this has been good, especially for the first entry.

Dude go for it.

Also where you around for the online community for when that game was popular back in the day? It was fun as hell

I only really lurked GFaQs to get enough brotherbands to have 2 of each.

That's now, like, impossible. Why?

1: Everyone uses Zerker

2: I honestly don't know anyone who realistically plays the game anymore.

But seriously, SF2's story was... Amusing. Mostly because I got a kick out of the Pleseo battle, and the battle with General Auriga is always fun.

It's funny you mention GFaqs because that's where I got ALL of my sf3 brothers from. Also I think the last of the people who probably played the game left after nintendo shut down the old DS servers and all :(.

Speaking of SF2 bosses I remember when I was younger and fought that one goat's kid's DX form (the shiny form) i'd flip out if he grew bigger on me. I felt like he could crush me at any given moment XD

I'm actually enjoying most of the videos astro.

:)

Thanks. Who wouldn't enjoy this top 20. You have any favorite navi's? Mine are TurboMan, PlantMan, Ring, FreezeMan and GyroMan.

Plus, I liike how in BN5 you have a well diversified team. We have a leader (ProtoMan/Colonel), a defender (MagnetMan/KnightMan), a powerhouse (NapalmMan/TomahawkMan), a speedster (GyroMan/ShadowMan), an analyst (SearchMan/NumberMan), and a supporter (Meddy/ToadMan).

So, the Power Plant was indeed dumb. Like, I know I missed some blue data, but I think its just money so its w/e.

Anyway, I am now stuck looking for that old man with the 4th code. I feel like I'm missing something really obvious, but I can't find him. Decided to use that time to get the level 3 chip for Guts, Number, Wood, and Ice. Wood was dumb because it took my 3rd S rank to actually get the chip. On the bright side this is a great way to grind for money.

Turns out I walked past the guy in ACDC which is dumb cause I remember looking there and thinking I talked to everyone. Sigh.

Freezeman is one of my favorites because of the EXE beast anime (I was sad to see Zoano Freeze die because he was the only zoano that had done something for someone)

Flashman as well (Anime and the games, I like how they made his omega form buffed to hell and anime wise he's just plain badass)

Quickman because gotta go fast (Also because Zoano Quickman wasn't really "fairly defeated" which proves his worth)

Larkman because gotta go fast 2 and I love birds (hence why i love RRs so much in ygo)

Shadowman is just awesome :D I'd say protoman ties with him as well :)
