Bujin Hiroko (906)

Pendulums are one of the monster types now, so why the funk are you all so anal about "random" archetypes getting pendulums? It's like saying "Wow, why is this archetype getting Tuners".

tbh yesterday I was thinking about how I wished more decks had a tuner just because, regardless of having a synchro. pendulums are more or less the same idea, as theymare mpre comparable to tuners than other subtypes.

Would be fun. Like Infernoids got Dekatron randomly being a Tuner and everyone's all like "OMG INFERNOID SYNCHRO". It's like Archetypes can't get tools to expand themselves further and get indirect support even after the archetype is discontinued, am I right.

This is what we call the "casual mindset".

actually this is exactly what i meant by "make any bujin xyz out of 2 bujins"

being able to make amaterasu or kagutsuchi out of a quilin and a hare or something is surprisingly useful, though somewhat situational

.....Why are Bujins getting Pendulums......

because konami wants bujins to be good still

The benefit of this, is that it feels more in-line with how Arc-V wants things.

Not very.  This card, as previously mentioned, has the potential to clog turn 1 hands, which is absolutely brutal in any bujin build.

At most this card would be run at 2, and in order for Rabbit to be relevant you should really be playing 3 of the Normal Monster in order to make sure rabbit is still live if you accidentally draw into one of them.

Plus this thing can be searched by Susanowo, and then immediately used on said Susanowo, so there really isn't any point to playing more than 2, if even that.

Now if we get a full scale, that's a different story, as it will warrant more copies of this in the main deck in order to get a set scale faster.

Why would Bujins care about Pendulum Summoning? Don't they usually just Normal Summon an invincible Yamato to win?

Things have become to aggressive for that to work again. So, instead, they are supporting a version of the deck that utilizes it's really good R4s alot more

Dracoslayer + Hiroko + any Bujin

Play both Dracoslayer and Hiroko, pop Hiroko for a second copy

Play the second copy of Hiroko, pendulum summon the first copy and the other Bujin

Overlay for Susanowo detach add Hirume

Use scale Hiroko to turn Susanowo into Amaterasu

Special Summon Hirume by banishing what you detached from Susanowo

Detach material from Amaterasu to summon what you banished for Hirume

Overlay for Susanowo detach and add...

Hiroko: Activate as scale and turn Susanowo into Kagutsuchi or Tsukuyomi

OR

Yamato: Normal Summon Yamato and pitch a Hare or Turtle to the graveyard in the end phase

During the next turn, detach for Amaterasu to add back Hiroko, potentially opening up more plays with Dracoslayer next turn
