Trebuchet MS
It's been a long while since I've actually held a 1v1 outside the Opens. Also, I'm no longer at soup. Progenitor
Card AAt first I wasn't too hot on this. It's all right, but nothing really sets cards anymore. It's a free 2500 body though, and that's still pretty strong. That last effect though is really interesting. It's like a built in Lose 1 Turn without being exactly like Skill Drain KONAMI......sorry. Anyway this card is a splashable 2500 body that really forces your opponent to deal with it before they go for extensive plays, which actually can be very important late game Card BThis, my friends, is one piece of the complicated puzzle to pull Venoms out of obscurity. The one thing venoms don't really have is a mass counter distributor like Aliens do. Sure Venom Swamp does its thing, but it can take ages before that loss is even relevant. This thing can plop itself after venom swamp makes it's rounds. At which point it's effect becomes "use me to make your opponent's monster lose 1000 attack". At which point you can more than likely attack over it and get a free draw. Also the fact that the draw isn't a OPT is freaking glorious. Just pick their monsters off one at a time and let the draws roll in. While Card A definitely can be good, Card B just does more for venoms. It's a bit tougher to drop, but it does world's more, offering easy counter distribution as well as draw power. My vote goes to Card B.

Forest Fire
Card AAt first I wasn't too hot on this. It's all right, but nothing really sets cards anymore. Shaddols are a thing.... and that sibyll archetype does exist. any way. i vote card b for similar reasons as above ^. it does more for the archetype, and while the other is Lose 1 Turn without the skill drain and it hits more stuff.... i don't think it would help as much cause the archetype's main weakness (or as it seems to me) is that it has no fast way to get out counters. Spinny
Im not gonna say much because so much was covered about card A in Progenitor's post.Really, i love venom coatle. It adds sustainability to a deck that was born to manipulate board state and also makes it alot faster.Python feels like a boss card really (so many effects that control your opponent on 1 card), i would downgrade it for that because of the card requirement. Python also covers a quite obscure part of their weakness.... whereas coatle gives them more sustainability for playing properly, which is a big problem of theirs.
