Cards:

Card A:

KAiNsHY.jpg

Lore: You can Normal Summon/Set this card without tributing, but its effects are negated. If you Tribute Summon this card, its original ATK becomes 2350. Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Beast-Type monster from your hand, and if you do, this card gains 500 ATK and is unaffected by your opponent's Trap effects until the end of this turn.

Card B:

Doma, the Harbringer of Worldly Silence

Level 5 Fairy/Synchro/Effect Dark 1600/1400

1 DARK tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monsters

Cannot be removed from the field by your opponent's monsters (either by battle or by card effects). When this card is Synchro Summoned or removed from the field, negate the effect of all other monsters on the field. This card gains 400 ATK for each monster on the field with its effect negated.

Let's see what we got here.

Card A can either serve as a easy Level 5 monster to bring out (although it's just a vanilla at that point) for R5 plays; or you can Tribute Summon it properly to make it a 2350 beater on its own.

With that in mind, I'm not really keen on it being able to SS stuff, then plus heavily off of it (ATK raise + immunity to Traps that turn).

While yes, being immune to Mirror Force and other is nice and all; not really keen on it pumping its ATK every time you SS a monster like this (although yes, it fits into his theme) if that is the case here. I'm going to assume that card A's effects of ATK boosting and Trap immunity both wear off.

-------

Card B has immunity to Castel and a lot of other common monsters, but otherwise it is still weak to S/T destruction.

That, and it'll stay on for a while. Given that Normal Monsters very rarely show up, outside of Igknights; this card can end up being rather powerful over time, given that the opponent/you will likely have a few effect monsters of your own.

At its core, it's pretty much a beater that can avoid getting hit by monsters + for suicide attacks, but will still die to other forms of destruction.

If your opponent is foolish enough to blow it up, then they get their monsters negated (although so do you).

Problem with this card is as it sounds; outside of Normal Monsters or other Decks that want their effects negated (usually stuff with negative effects); not sure if any Deck would want to make space for this card. Igknights have no use for this card (can't make it anyway) and other probably Decks are mainly effect based, so there's that. Level 5 is an accessible Level, yes, but as to whether Decks will run it over Armades and things is rather unlikely.

-------

In all, I'll give card A the vote for now.

As much as I don't agree with it plussing from the SSing , you actually need to Tribute Summon it (which is made easier via Stormforth and stuff); otherwise effect is negated.

That, and the summon needs to go through.

(Although nothing is stopping you from reviving it via CoTH and other stuff. You lose the extra 600 ATK, though.)

I'm not exactly certain how well Beasts can SS themselves nowadays, but card A might help them a bit.

Again, not really keen on this card's effects after SSing stuff; if it was either/or or one of them got reduced; I might've given this vote with less hesitation.
